Okay, I need to get this off my chest. Thanks for listening:

First, my friend Bobb was injured, then I have two cancellations this week (one let me know today when I could have slept in). Then I had a review up listing my location so the reviewer told TER to delete that part of my review. Now TER deleted the whole review (which had two 10s). How frustrating!  Then I had something go wrong with my speaker system in my house, I am recovering from a fractured T3 (and yes, still working), etc., etc.

Okay, enough of my rant. Anyone want to get laid?

I've had 5 cancellations and 3 no-shows this week alone.

What got me is that they didn't even call to cancel.  Long Island is a very tough place for BBW's to work.

and always will, if that matters for anything.

You rearrange your whole schedule to accommodate clients/friends and then they blow you off like it was nothing. I wonder if they do this in their daily business networking? It would be nice to be taken seriously. Now I'm out two days of $$ because I had a cancellation for tomorrow, too. Geez!  I could have had my carpets cleaned.

I was widowed 2 years ago, and before that we'd always have a big party at our house on the 4th.  One of the best fireworks shows in town is on our front deck.  We usually had about 20 or 30 people over.

I decided to host my first one since being single, and invited 6 of my closest friends. Cleaned up the house, got all the stuff around, put alot of effort into it.   Yup, you guessed it, not even one showed up. It was still a good show, even alone.

  I live near Reno, and it's been a bit warm around here lately. I'm an electrician, and one of our jobs is at an airport. I spent the next 2 days, 108 and 106, outside in the middle of miles and miles of blacktop. The only thing the slight breeze did was blow the even hotter air around me. I'd bring a thermometer along, but I think it'd scare me. lol. Not exactly my idea of fun, but the good thing about it is now the 95 to 100 degree days won't seem so bad.

  Sure, I'd love to get laid, but after a day like that, there's not much left of me!

Last week I had a hemoroid operation and the doctor accidently removed ten feet of my lower intestines.

I lost my job, it was outscourced to Antartica.

My pet lobster died and my wife cooked it.

My dad won 50 million dollars in the lottery and cut me out of his will.

And I have the gout.

But you know what? You have to lift your head up to the sky and take a walk in the sun. Never giveup, never give up THAT SHIP !!

Sorry about your bad week. I never have a bad week as long as I am still alive and kicking as I'm retired, get to do whatever I wish and don't have to worry about work.
Yes, I would like to get laid, but you are too far away. I would love to give you a hug and tell you everything will be all right.
One of these days I will get the mortgage paid off and will come to visit.

I have been in several situations where I was told to "cheer up, it can't get any worse", well, they did and I got through it.

Ciara is a tough lady.
With her friends behind her, she will get through anything.

I learned, albeit the hard way, that no matter how bad it seems, the possibility exists for things to get worse.  Often from an angle that is not expected.

I do wish Ciara and others the best in getting a little luck move in their direction again.
