Regsiter the card online with a name of your choosing.  Use that name and information at the time of purchase...assuming you are able to complete the purchase.  There are a number of posts with people having problems using prepaid/gift cards. As for people using their personal cards. often they  are getting called by the bank when the transaction gets flagged.   Good Luck

Is it possible to pay with a prepaid Mastercard or Visa card?  If so, how do you get past the part where they ask your name?  I really do not want to use my personal credit or debit card.

I was wondering the same thing myself today as I was out grocery shopping.  There were prepaid MC and V cards on display so I took a look and noticed a warning that they can only be used in the US.  Since TER is based in Europe and seems to do business only in Euros, my guess is that those prepaids will not work.  Has anybody else had success with them?

If you are talking about paying TER dues, Vanilla VISA is widely available and works fine. You can put the amount you want on the card for a small fee.  All you need to register it on line is a zip code.  When you enter a name and address (not your own) with the billing service, make sure you use the same information.  Technically it is a debit card, like Green Dot.  I don't know if it would work putting an advance deposit with a provider since I haven't done that, but I don't see why not.

But I have a nasty habit of taking these ladies out for dinner and drinks. Buying them shit like toys. Or just hanging out before we actually conduct 'business'.

In all actuality, I'd probably be insulted if I met a lady for the first time, and she put on the act.

I've had 2 providers take the advance and never show.

I've had so many who were grateful and exceedingly generous I've lost count.  A landlord doesn't want to hear "I've got a session next Tuesday and I'll pay you then", and a car often won't get fixxed on credit.  But most the women really do remember when Tuesday night comes around.

There are LE benefits as well to not having large $ if the two of you get looked at suspiciously.

Some Vanilla Visas have a $500 max, but you might have to look around since they don't seem to be as common as the lower limit variety.

I do the greendot cards all the time. What we do is he loads my card and then he calls it in to reserve the room right away. Then when I showUp Itsin my name and the rooms paid for. Of course it gets deducted from the  donation and insures no cancellation.

Alot of girls especially me hate vanilla visa cards cause you can't use em online or atm they're a hassle. In the good days gentlemen would give gift cards for likeMacy's or Victoria's Secret...stuff that they would enjoy seeing them in nex  tvisit.
