I use skype on my main rig to chat up providers and exchange info. Wife uses her own laptop downstairs which does not have Skype on it (yet). She has hotmail. I have yahoo. However...I have heard that Hotmail LINKS accounts for SKype users to their emails. Now, I used my OWN yahoo mail to make an account on Skype on my own rig upstairs set to NOT login automatically upon execution (have to input password which is not saved). What I am worried about is Skype seeing the IP address coming from her laptop and MY rig and assuming it is one and the same person. Horror scenario: she logs into her hotmail one day, clicks the "chat" function in the upper right corner out of curiosity and voila! Out pour all the lovely conversations I've had with times, dates, etc. Anyone else paranoid about this? Yes, I know I made a Skype account with Yahoo and not hotmail (which my wife has) but I am seriously thinking of ditching Skype altogether after reading this
Is very important.. I guess even AOL... I have Hushmail..never had a problem with that although I use two separate computers for "work life" and "personal life" plus two phones just in case Apple decides to synch my computers and devices...
As far as your iPhone and iPads are concerned, once restore the device to factory default, everything is wiped out including the encryption key so even you cannot get to your data.

You do realize I hope that it is statistically impossible for Pimples to have an 82.7% chance of winning at the same time that Fungy has a 79.2% chance.
As a matter of fact you have been making many mistakes like this lately, Normally I would blame alcohol or the lack thereof, but this seems different as it's becoming a pattern. The one thing I can point to with any degree of certainty is that your math skills have deteriorated in direct proportion to the amount of time you've spent "debating" Pimples. My advice is to stop debating Pimples immediately before you become a SPOTY candidate yourself.
In the meantime, until your math skills return I would suggest you leave the linesman duties to me.
right now I would set the running line at Pimples still being the odds on favorite at 4-5, with Fungy at second choice at 5/2, Turdwell rates a distant third choice at 10/1 with everyone else representing a field bet at 6/1

A rule of thumb is that your yahoo and Skype and google should NOT be registering your account id automatically without logging in first.
Btw it's not called being paranoid- it's avoiding unnecessary risk and setting up a stable system that works.

File synching and IP address tracking are different issues. First of IP address is used by the network, without IP address, it is like mailing a letter without a recipients address.
Email addresses are tied to an IP address otherwise you would not get an email or be able to send one either

I believe Microsoft merged Hot Mail with Skype.The idea is to use HotMail account for password recovery and reset.
Also bear mind, user has to link the account by putting in their Hot Mail email ID. If you set up an Skype account without using your Hot Mail account then, there is no way for the system to link it.
