I figure that you always respond to emails when it's about setting an appointment. To do otherwise would be dumb.

But what about other things, particularly when it's with a client you have seen a bunch (>5) times?

I'm wondering what to make of my sending periodic little notes to my ATF, whom I've seen about 8 times, some were extended dates.  So, I'm not just any guy wanting to waste her time.  When I say periodic, I mean about once every two weeks--I don't consider that an overload.

She never responds to anything I send, even with a one word 'thanks' or 'cool' or lol, whatever.  I don't expect anything by now, but some sort of response would be polite, no? The silence is deafening.

How do you ladies generally handle it?

if she is not smart enough to be willing to spend a minute every now and then acknowledging your email, chatting just a bit, in order to express appreciation for regular biz, I would move on.

Getting fixated on "ATFs" is a bad idea anyway. Too many pretty ladies offer great service, and life is short...

Nothing wrong with an LTR or two with the right ladies mind you but if your ATF is snubbing you I would vote with my wallet.

Of course I cannot speak for the ladies' viewpoints, but I have several friends in this biz whom I see two or three or four times a year. I am *always* hearing from them - touching base, passing back channel information, sharing a bit about what is going on in our lives, flirting lol.....  it is not only good from the standpoint of enjoying some community, but it is good business as well....

is that most don't do it ( there are exceptions of course ). 2 reasons : 1. their e-mailing correspondence for making appointments is so busy they don't have time for idle chit-chat.
2. Providers are afraid if they give OTC e-mail to hobbyist, he'll get wrong idea & go into "stalker mode". Hence, why thy're so reluctant not to engage in OTC e-mailing.

Slow twitch, if you have great thing going with your ATF, it'd be foolish to cut it off with her on basis of her not answering your OTC e-mails; do you realize how tough it is find an ATF ?!

Stick with reliable brand names.

I've met some ladies that list an email address, but really do everything by phone. Not certain why that is. But, if you are setting appointments up through email, ask her why she doesn't respond to your other emails. If you're not satisfied with her answer, move on.

Here's my take on it, if and when you find a ATF, don't mess it up. Keep it simple SlowTwitch, and do not try to turn a great escort into a not so great girlfriend.

how good it works.  She won't give you da freakin time of day and gets on here an tells us she's your ATF, an you seen her 8 freakin times!  You must have some kind of complex or sumthin....you love being ignored?  She even touch your junk during a date?  Lord in heaven, man...this is almost sad...like pathetic sad!

Now lookie here.  it don't matter if I ain't gots nothin to do for days.  I ain't gonna respond!  Andif you get on this board and ax why, you gonna hear the same thing from all of us!
Leave us alone man, unless you's writin for a date. We providers are busy busy busy!  I'm 22, and my oldest kid is 10, then they is 10 months apart till ya get to number 5.  Now i gots to get em off to school, buy em clothes, cook, and then make time to fuck needy wimps like you who wants to communicate something other than business.

I noticed that younger providers (20 something) do that more - ignore OTC emails.  I think more mature providers (30s and up) who are more comfortable with you and their experience in handling clients are not afraid to shoot more emails. I just noticed that younger ones behave this way. They will only respond if you are gonna book them.

I think it really depends on the specific provider, IMHO. I appreciate having some conversation with my regulars in between dates. I really do like to connect and communicate and that doesn't stop just because your time is up. Now, don't get me wrong- I'm busy as the next girl and can't catch up with someone's day everyday. But an email every two weeks to say "hi"- would be totally welcome in my book and would get a welcome response. But I do take a distance stance after a first meeting- I don't email them unless they do first. I too don't want anyone to get the wrong idea that I am asking for a second date- although it would be welcome.

2 or 3 times a day or more. Either by phone, text, PM and/or email. And not all by me. We get a hold of each other. They feel comfortable with me, as I do with them.

They're friends of mine. I just give them money to fuck on occasion.

Sometimes I just don't have the time in that second to reply, and then it gets lost in all the newsletters I receive. (god damn Old Navy and Target!)
Sometimes it's a lengthy letter and I feel bad that I have maybe a sentence in response to your nine paragraphs. And sometimes, I never even see it.

Generally, I have my little blackberry, so I respond to everything immediately, though they'll generally be shorter, 3-4 lines at the most.
