Of course it's above the minions! You must have never attended the academy or else you'd know this! And "acolyte" doesn't necessarily have a religious connotation. Have a great day!
Hello there beautiful people of TER!
So, I have a friend who is a stripper, I'm a provider. She feels her profession is more respectable then mine because she "dances" on a stage, but she willingly goes the "extra mile" in the VIP room. My profession, however, is pretty straight forward. I told her that regardless of her view about herself, Own who you are because society still labels us both whores. She's a teaser, im a pleaser and I own it but does she honestly get a pass, HONESTLY TER???
Providers & Hobbyist your opinion? Hobbyist if you had to choose between a Stripper as a Girlfriend & a Provider as a Girlfriend, which would you choose?
She's currently giving me the silent treatment because I called her a "closet hoe" LMFAO

I don't see any difference but many in this world need to look down on someone.
The courtesans looks down on the VIP Escorts.
The VIP escorts look down on the "regular" escorts.
Escorts look down on body rub gals.
Body rub gals look down on SW's.
You are all a bunch of hookers to me and I am grateful for you all.
Imagine how much of a dick I would be if I didn't get laid 2-3 times a week by y'all?
Oh, the humanity.
The majority of strippers that I know or know of think stripping is above all in this industry! We are just trying to make a living no need to look down...
Personally I see hookers as a thousand times more honest than strippers. With a hooker you pay a set price for a set service, with strippers their goal is to separate the guy from as much cash as possible all the while doing as little to earn said money as possible.
If anyone is going to be looking down on anybody, I think it's you hookers who should be looking down on strippers. But OTOH, strippers make your services look very affordable (I hate to say cheap) in comparison when you look at in on a "value received" basis.
I don't see stripping as being more "dishonest", I look at it as a different type of pay structure, not unlike a civie person who is on commission rather than salary.
That's like saying used car salesman or ambulance chasing lawyers aren't "dishonest" when the nature of the job is dishonest, by necessity the people doing said jobs are dishonest as well.
...but I would say most commissioned people are honest. Again I see no dishonesty in what strippers do in general.
They are there to get as much money as they can, legally. If some schmuck cant control his spending, that's on him, not the girl.
Every business on earth that I am aware wants to get their clients to spend as much money as possible. That's what strippers do so they shouldn't be singled out on it when everyone else is doing it.
That's just human and self survival, nothing regarding dishonesty.
So if a stripper gets a guy to spend thousands on her with the promise, implied or overt, that she'll be going home with him at the end of the night, only to leave him with the rest of the schmucks sitting in front of the club at closing times, only to have her sneaking out the back under the protection of the bouncer leaving him with nothing but his own dick in his hand. That's on him???
Sorry, but I don't see it that way.
I don't think the majority of stripers work that way, at least that is not my experience at all.
Sure there are some in any line of work who are unethical but again, I don't think there is anything innately "dishonest" about the stripping "profession" in general.
P4p girls here short guys on time, upcharge, pressure for higher scores, blackmail at times, etc.
Aren't they all "dishonest" things to do
Is an acolyte above or below a minion in the pecking order?
and here I thought JDU was a secular institution. lol

Strippers can't photo shop pictures or lie about age and weight to get guys into the VIP rooms. At least the tricks can see what they are getting before going into the rooms
all the losers waiting around in the parking lot at shift change for the gals who'd promised to go home with them? You know, the ones who slipped out another exit and are now sucking their BF's dick?
You called them "losers."
And no diff than in TER style hooking as many girls are telling their johns here how big their cocks are or how awesome in bed they are or how "handsome" they are.

Jacks almost always right. You? Rarely if ever right.
Jack is always right. Never wrong. Your last sentence is, however, completely correct.
Ladies & Gents your opinion? Gents if you had to choose between a Stripper as a Girlfriend & a Provider as a Girlfriend, which would you choose?
Well, maybe not exactly.
In terms of my wanting a relationship, their work would not be a factor. In terms of being comfortable with having this be part of my world, I suppose it is easier with a discreet provider since (I all goes to plan.) no one will know. On the other hand, a stripper is more out there, so I'd have to explain to friends and family that, yes, I'm dating a stripper - what of it?
Ironically, the former is arguably more of a scandal since it is illegal while the latter is less so, being legal.
Odd how often life is like that
Provider > stripper easy. Maybe its just me as a person but teasing generally isnt something that appeals to me. Lightly, and in the right context obviously i can roll with it like any other socially functioning human but otherwise i dont get it. Finding pleasure/fun in denying others (tickling is to pain as teasing is to torture) seems unnatural to me. Id take an expert of pleasure over one of teasing any day.
Like i said, maybe its just who i am, but i want to be with someone who clearly wants mutual pleasure rather than someone who wants a game. Never had a shred of interest in strip clubs, lap dances, etc. Ultimately though what matters is how you feel on the way out. Really interested in what others have to say.
As far as which is more "respectable..." Lets be realistic here. Workers are workers. The only things i find respectable or not about the industry are a provider's honesty and "class" for lack of a better term.
Everybody seems to have their personal limits set in their own mind and a rank order of acceptability, for others, as well. I've known strippers who would NEVER allow themselves to be photographed for Playboy or Hustler, let alone Split Beavers or other porn-genre titles. They will spread wide on the edge of a stage, 3 inches from a drooling mug but not it's for publication (and posterity).
I have had some stripper-friends but no provider-friends (that I know of!). All things considered, I think prefer Providers to Strippers.

Make or break a worker definitely!
Stripper. You can talk to them and literally get a feel for what you are getting. No two-call system, someone hiding behind the door, police in the next room and a possible gun fight.
Much rather spend my time watching ladies on stage than sitting in a parking lot waiting for a room number
You're a very strange individual! Let me get this straight. You'd rather toss ur money to a girl that ur not getting shit from other than seeing her naked, maybe a hand job, than go into a room and bang the living shit out of some hot ass chick that you'd never get out in the real world? Gimme a fucking break! No way Jose! Provider all the way!
To the OP, remember, other than this individual, you are at TER here. Mostly hobbiest I'd imagine
#justsayin

We handle our stuff in a private setting, we also make sweet love to gentlemen, and we have our respectable lives that nobody in this world knows about, our real world doesn't know about this life.
She getts naked and gets rubbed on everything in a place where everyone does that which is very public, very distasteful.
I respect providers more than strippers because we keep our shit discreet and our intimate moments whether they are on TER reviews or whatever. They are way more personal and respectful than a stripper.
So You're right. She's not special. Providers are your pretend girlfriend and the gentlemen always come back ![]()
Jack has my vote for the correct view.
Its all Symantec's - Ego plays a huge role in what a hooker thinks of herself. We are all sucking cock, and it doesn't matter where we are doing it. Backalley, or Penthouse. Be able to look yourself in the mirror and be happy with who is looking back at you.
Ego gets in the way of many lovely things in life.
What is that joke: Man says "will you fuck me for a price" woman says horrified, "Only if you pay me a million dollars" Man replies, "Great so you will, now were just negotiating."
I'll add to Jacks list: Sugar babies are disgusted with hookers.
I still visit stripclubs once a week so I am all too familiar with what strippers really do in VIP. If I were to choose which to date I think that I would lean more towards providers. They tend to be more punctual, and take their work more seriously...and yes I know what they are really doing behind closed doors. I don't think strippers take much of anything very seriously (but I love 'em anyways
)
Lopaw, you're familiar with what strippers do with WOMEN in the VIP room. If there's one thing I've noticed in strip clubs, it's that female clients get away with way more than male clients.
Hey Ms. LeilaL💚vely,
Speaking as a former "stripper' herself,
MUCH MORE RESPECTABLE AS A PROVIDER~ Seems more of the same 'playing field' with the latter choice.
".......because I called her a "closet hoe"- could not have said it better. You go girl!! ![]()
I've done both - danced round a pole and lap dances - though no 'going the extra mile' in this place in Sydney was permitted for fear of licence loss - girls just gave guys their phone numbers on little cards at the bar for after meetings.
I've also owned and worked in a massage parlour in my early 20's so have partaken in a little 'rub and tug' activity
In both of these jobs other girls would sneer at girls who worked in other areas of sex work as being more 'low class' than them and now I'm a provider as you call it here, escort as we call it downunder, it's the same thing - high end girls sneer at bp girls, bp girls probably sneer at street walkers, and so it goes on.
It's just a way to not feel so bad about being a hoe but it's the same flipping thing and while all us girls are busy sneering at each other the civilians out there think we're ALL crack addicted, diseased low lifes.
Maybe it's THEM we should be sneering at? ![]()
I'd have to say that you're both teasers and pleasers. She teases us with her music and dancing, while you tease us with your pics, mind, and great reviews. She pleases us with her extra mileage (which really isn't extra mileage because there's usually a 15 minute timer), while you please us with your normal mileage (when you go the extra mile for your favs, it really is extra mileage).
But I'd have to say that you're way more respectable. The stripper world is filled with catty competitive women who have sharp claws. If I say no, I don't want an ld, they have been nasty to me too. She has to deal with those ladies face to face every day. Plus, she has to hustle her ass off. Not to mention the VIP rooms can be dingy, dirty (sticky floors), smelly from the last guy, and impersonal. Your world is relatively quiet, humorous, and interesting. You sit and wait peacefully for us guys to contact you. When you reach out to us, it's in the form of a pic, a flirt, or an occasional extra email to a fav. Your incall is clean, cheerful, and has little touches of your personality. In fact, these are the very reasons I don't haunt the stripper world anymore.
Porn stars think they're better because they only have sex with a small group of other performers. Strippers think they're better because they don't have actual sex, and only expose themselves to a small group of gawkers (not a national audience). Escorts think they're better because only their selected clients get to see them naked.
Stop it! You're all sex workers! Our fucked up society looks down on all of you!
As for me, I respect sex workers more than any other type of woman. I admire you all. I would date any one of you. So how about y'all unite, and I'll "unite" with as many of you as I can.
