TER General Board

Speaking of provider blogs..

I find most of them highly amusing at times, self centered, downright stupid, and sheer fabrications.
Most of them should have Prozac ads in the columns or links.
I am not saying all of them, maybe 90%.

Maybe in 25 years when I retire I will start a Hirogen blog and remember all of my fans at TER.

I think it is more like 99% and I haven't found the one percent of worthwhile blogs that I am allowing for.

Truth be told, it's not just provider blogs. It's blogs in general. Just how narcissistic do you have to be to have your own blog? I am admittedly an asshole, and many might call me a narcissistic asshole to boot, but even I don't delude myself into thinking that there is an audience who wants GaGambler's innermost thoughts, constantly throughout the day, can you imagine GaGambler all day, every day? fuck, just shoot me now.

Not a question you should post, GaG----as self proclaimed "TER's Biggest asshole" ,you might get some takers on your offer ( wonder if I would get any takers on same question----;)

"Hirogen's TER FANS" ?!----Hell, a FAN would be a charitable #------:)

The pic below popped into my head for some odd rreason------

Ladies that write blogs that are off the charts but very true, better than penthouse forum.

the choice is yours.I am not in the business world but I know a marketing tool when I see one, because it works.

Not one of them has had me saying "I have to fuck this chick" Not one. So much for marketing.

be, unless the gal is blogging about saving the whales or the price of gasoline, in which case it would not be a provider blog at all, would it?

And you would not know if it is “sheer fabrication,” would you? So you are just guessing there.

If the blog is “amusing,” that’s a plus.  If the blog is “downright stupid,” well welcome to the world of Internet posting.

Like any other Internet posting, the quality of a provider’s blog turns on her writing skill, insights into the world of provider and client, and her willingess to share these insights.

And some of these ladies are pretty good in all three categories.

Really, Hirogen, I hope you have no plans to give up your day job and become a provider blog critic.

No, his aspirations seem much grander than that, just Critic, with no limiting qualifiers!

Who else would think that the rest of us would really give a shit about what they have to say? especially since most blogs are nothing more than "dear diary" in nature.

It takes a special kind of person to think the intimate details of their boring ass life is really of any interest to the rest of us. and I don't mean "special" in the good sense.

What does amaze me is the fact that many of these blogs actually have a following, oh well, there is no accounting for what stupid and/or bored people will find entertaining. It would not surprise me if many of the manginas here are faithful followers of dumb ass blogs like the one memtioned a few threads down, which I am sure was the inspiration of your OP.

Truth be told, I don't even know why I allowed her to link to that ridiculous "dear diary" blog in the first place. The GD board is not the place to get free advertizing for no talent, wannabe writers, but maybe someone like MSD or Madiba will find her interesting, I know I don't.

Their is 1 story that was a contribution that is a fantasy but it clearly says that in the title.
Otherwise what I write is true.  I find it hard to write well when I'm fabricating.

I don't agree with blogs who are insulting to the hands that feed them and I try to stay away from them.
I even wrote an "I'm so Thankful" blog around Christmas time.

Yes, it is a marketing tool, but that makes it easy for gentleman to decide if we would have a good, better, or best meeting after he reads what I write without us getting into any uncomfortable and possibly incriminating conversations.

"Who else would think that the rest of us would really give a shit about what they have to say?" applies to a lot of the content on the GD board. Not just blogs being linked to.

If we're going to censor people for being dumb, boring, annoying, or whatever, this place is going to be a ghost town. (Aside from it being personal taste.)

For instance, most of the Anti-Mangina League's crap is dull and boring now that we've seen it for the 65636th time. Yeah, we get it, you're not a Sensitive New Age Guy with a ponytail who cries at chick flicks, and it makes you feel mighty and your penis swells when you play Flame Warrior on the Interwebs, and you write posts that ridicule the existence of people who don't feel and think as you do. Yawn.

There is no censorship on this board, quite the contrary most people, the mangina crowd especially, who you seem to be defending all seem to think that too much is allowed here. So which is it too much censorship or too little? Or is it only opinions that disagree with yours that you have a problem with?

I apologize.

I would say that moderators should be liberal in what allowed within the rules and guidelines that are given, and that moderator discretion will obviously differ depending on the moderator.

I also think it's probably good to err on the side of being too liberal. (If I was given license to rewrite TER's rules for discussion topics on the board, I'd even go so far as to -gasp- eliminate some.)

I'll leave it at that and go back to extracting loafers from my mouth.

that the entirety of your experience on the interwebs is related to "the hobby".

Providers were actually kind of late to the blogging game all things considered, and almost all personal blogs are self-centered (they are online journals, an electronic "dear diary" how would they be anything else?), stupid (most people don't think, write, or do things on a daily basis that are profound, so when they write about their lives it tends not to be all that profound either) and sheer fabrications (when folks read another's private thoughts the ones writing tend to try and make the posts a bit more impressive or at least less mind-numbingly boring).

So, you conclude 90% of a group that makes up less than 1% of all "bloggers" do what 99% of the millions of bloggers do?
Gasp...what a startling revelation.

same as the mean-spirited posts on these boards.

which is why I don't do Facebook & Twitter, along with reasons of privacy concerns. Another reason  why, even tho I liked movie " The Social Network", thought it overrated & couldn't identify w/ it. Why anyone gives a damn about  someone's minute & constant dreary details of their lives is beyond me.

Now, as far TER discussion board writings, another matter. Some of the writing here can be quite interesting at times ( particularly my brilliantly insightful P&R pieces-----;)

xoxo any suggestions would be great!!

Your blog is simple, more like tweets, short and sweet. It's not like the long winded psychobabble ramblings of real blogs.

I would be much more interested in having some hot wild sex with you, but you must keep the chatter to a minimum.

which we all know is not purely rooted in reality. It is real in the sense that she's actually writing it, but not neccessarily real in the way normal people go about their lives - people act different when they know the camera is rolling.

But regardless, as long as it's entertaining, it doesn't have to be anything else. When I read a quote like "pick a hole and fuck it", it doesn't really matter if she actually said that...entertainment.

You are suppose to say you find provider blogs very informative and insightful.  There are providers who read this discussion forum.  Ixnay on the upidstay.

My blog never had advertisements or any travel plans listed. It was pure fun and nothing more with many who followed. When I took a break for personal reasons I let my blog site with lots of upset followers.

Getting back in the swing of things is tough, trying to keep e-mail and phone calls in order. I'm cumming on strong in the next week and hope you'll join by reading my blog.

Kisses Haley

Over the years I have read a few and pretty much always come to the conclusion that it's just another sales tool.  If I'm interested in a gal and she has a blog I might read it.  Nothing that I have ever read convinced me to see a lady if I hadn't already decided to do so based on her reviews.  I guess it's a good thing that nothing I've read in a provider blog has convinced me NOT to see a lady.

Most blogs are pretty boring. Provider blogs do not have a monopoly on that.  I would much rather participate on chat boards for my on-line entertainment than read someone's endless one-sided babbling on just about any topic.

This is probably why I don't bother to read some of the ridiculously long one paragraph 10,000 word posts that pop up here every time some guy falls in love with his ATF.

I'd rather watch paint dry...

Books are stupid too, aren't they Hirogen?

As far as arrogance goes, if I don't love me, who will?

At any rate, dozens of my reviews mention that clients came to find me through my writing.
That return speaks volumes to me.
My clients enjoy knowing that I am literate and lucid in addition to having an idea of what my lifestyle is like and I continue to write because it is fun and enhances my business by exposing me to the exactly the sort of client I want - men who seek to enhance and deepen the experience with a full-blown mindfuck.

I have seen you regurgitate 300 word posts here, and rarely make it through the first paragraph.

Do I believe that you book appointments because of your literary skills? Absolutely. You are obviously not starving.

Books are not stupid. They have subject matter or a plot and usually have competent authors. Provider blogs (most) are merely discombobulated scattered thoughts with little or no basis in reality.

Peasant? You forgot the "L" :)

on the net, Hirogen, and irrelevant to the topic at hand.

Stick to your "literary" criticism please.

I did call him a peasant after all.

He had to reassert his manhood by calling my attractiveness into question.

I can tell you, Ally is a true beauty in many ways.
Shes bright very bright interesting and funny.
She has a great deal to offer outside the bedroom and your opinion on whos worth seeing is limited to what and who You like. There is variety for a reason.
You can feel free to read all te blogs you want or none but either way its rediculous to assume everyone sees the world the way you do.
Its the spice of life baby!

You're assuming a lot, and putting a great deal into the poster's mouth that he never said.
Would that not, also, be a cry for attention?

On another note, because some of us actually do read, how exactly does a "vegetarian" achieve a certain weight / mass ratio?
Maybe the broccoli is deep fried?

Kisses to you too darling.

I'll go back to letting you boys bash each other : )

*Scuttles away into the darkness*

Try another one because that one doesn't hit any pressure points with me.
If you actually do read- stop by my reviews.
Wait, I'm certain you have...otherwise I'm sure you would have drummed up something a little less textbook.

I don't think I've assumed anything which isn't obvious from the other poster's posting history.
A cry for attention?  I don't participate in discussions purely in the vein of being negative or bandying thinly-veiled insults to stir other members up, so no...I'm afraid you're wrong.

Hugs-n-kisses- enjoy whatever parting shot you can muster darling : ).

Don't call me a peasant and insult my intelligence and I won't insinuate that you are fat and long winded.

The coconut shrimp was phenomenal.

I must say I've cropped up a number of times not under alias lately and I haven't suffered the abuse other ladies have.

You have to admit.  "Peasant"??!  It WAS funny.

I'm glad you enjoyed your Van De Kamps.

Goodnight Hirogen, Moderator and adopted big abusive brothers : ).

PS- Blagoo: I saw that.
Skittles are fucking delicious.

You rashly assume things about Hiroge.

First, that he can read.

Second, that he has enough of an attention span that he will read more than two sentences in one sitting.

Three, that he sees any woman as more than a piece of meat.  From his own words he prefers the young, weak, silent type.

Fourth, that he has ever seen a provider in the flesh.

There is little evidence for you to make any of these assumptions.

Hirogen262 reads

Where did you get the weak and silent from? It's true that I would never fuck a mammoth provider but I do like my providers to talk, just not chatter incessantly.

You on the other hand probably do nothing but talk with dick in hand and hopes of erection.

By the way. Ally made no fundamental errors at all. Why would you insult her in the first place?

Chatter incessantly?  Now you're backpeddaling pretty fast.  You admitted you've trouble reading 300 words (a decent sized paragraph), but we're supposed to now believe you'd want any provider to speak more than 5 or 6 words?  Even then you'd prefer they're all one sylable I bet.

I looked up your reviews to see just who you've seen so I'd know if they're all mutes, but couldn't find any.

Hirogen371 reads

Or are you asking for me to autograph your AARP card?
Let me make it a little more clear for you. If she talks too much, I will stick my dick in her mouth.
You on the other hand probably drop an envelope so you have someone to talk to. That is sad.

Your meals on wheels is probably on the way to you as we speak. Enjoy.

How many people have you pulled that lame "sign your AARP card" crap on in your reply?  I know you did it to me, now Al, and probably a lot more.

You sound just like the 4th grader who can not thing of anything appropriate to say so they break out the "Oh yea?".  In your case if you have nothing to legitimately respond you fall back and claim the person is old, fat, etc.  Are you really ten years old?

I myself am a little addicted to blogs. However I don't read many personal blogs. I tend to follow more creative blogs of all kinds because I have many hobbies. Its great to learn from other people who have the same interests. Blogs are great promotional tools as long as they are updated often and have a good following.

And of course someones personal blog is going to be a little self-centered... what else would you expect from someone talking about themselves. :P
