first off, why????
and secondly do any clients ever agree to this request from a provider?

Do any clients ever agree to this request from a provider? I have and will again sent a publicly available photo of me. Why not if I am giving my real name they can get the photos I send anyway.
with them.
In both cases we were to meet in a public place and I suppose they felt more comfortable making sure that the person meeting them is the right person.
1.. I think it's only fair. We get to see their pix from their sites. WTF?
2.. For a security standpoint. They want to make sure the guy they've been making a date with is the one that shows up.
3.. I like to think I'm a nice guy. Really. How can you refuse a lady's requests?
4.. I'm a handsome sonuvabitch. Why not share it if they ask? Shit, I'll even offer it without being asked.
5.. If you saw some of the pix she took of her and I....
6.. Go back to number 4....
just so I can verify that you are a handsome SOB ;o)
The SOB part at least, as for handsome, I'll let someone else, anyone else be the judge of that.
As for pictures, I have never been asked to send a pic as part of screening, nor would I ever do so if asked. Just part of that "Not jumping through hoops" part of my mentality is all. Never have and never will jump through unreasonable hoops just to spend my money on a woman.
The SOB part that is. lol
As for handsome, the inside story is that several providers were attracted to him enough to want see him off the clock for extended time... on their dime. So, his huge cockiness may very well be justified, he definitely does have more "game" than vast majority of the guys on this board.
Or he could just be making it all up in order to appear to have a bigger dick than the rest of us.
Of course, only Mr.Fisher knows the actual size of MP's lil winky. haha
and I have no delusions about being handsome, I do have "game" however. lol
and I am sure I have no desire to hear anymore of MP67 and mrfishers "secrets" I think secrets in this case should remain secret.
Ladies have flown in to see him. lol
That's a whole new level of 'OTC' time.
Dude doesn't need to spend tons of money to hobby like a rock star.
I am far from handsome, but I have had providers fly in to see me on their own dime. I've also had a provdider insist on giving me money after a casino trip where she won and I lost, of course we ended up in a two year "real" relationship, but that's a story for another time.
What's the big fucking deal? If you meet enough people some of them are going to like you, even Mikey. lol Is it really that strange that a woman that likes you would fly in to see you on her own dime? My, don't we have a sense of low self esteem around here?
Let's get this straight. I paid for them to come to me as far as airfare was concerned. Their rates, or lack thereof, was something between them and I. They stayed at my house, and my dogs fell inlove with them. Fucking ungrateful bastards liked them better than the stupidass sonuvabitch that feeds them and takes them for walks everyday.
Anyway, it did cost me. One way or the other. Comprende? ![]()
I didn't want to have to rat you out. Still, you know I'm in good stead with one of them and she never flies to see me. In fact, she doesn't even drive to see me. Hmmm, perhaps it's that no money thing. Oh well.
How many times has she publicly told you to call her?
Money? Was that ever a consideration? ![]()
Lets just say being a foreigner, looking a bit like Elvis but more like a popular Asian celeb, able to sing like a rock star, being sincere and somewhat intelligent at the same time... made me a popular guy with civvy girls during my prime and had more than I can f0cking count.
One girl I still recall, managed to get me so drunk at a party until I passed out, then she performed bj and other acts while I was totally gone. Clearly, a date rape, cuz we were not even together at that time... and I only found out because she told me long after we started dating for several months. (not that I minded it had I been awake, lol) Plus, additionally, I've had my fair share of stalkers and psychos.
I've since drifted away from being a 20-something hot guy as I too am getting older and slightly out of shape, yet still I've had provider take me on a vacation entirely on her own dime, simply cuz she really liked me.
Of course, when the next deal goes through smoothly, I may very well be in a position to hobby not only every day but every hour of the day. Highly doubt I will partake it though cuz I won't have the energy.
If he says it's cool, I'll send you some wild shit...! ![]()
"1.. I think it's only fair. We get to see their pix from their sites. WTF? "
Well uhhh, that's because they're soliciting clients and have to advertise. Are we now required to advertise to spend money? That reasoning makes no sense.
I've never encountered a provider that requires a picture. It's an extremely amateur request, and I would avoid any of them that do.
One of the first providers I saw after joining TER pretty much summed it up. We were chatting and she was trying to get me calm and comfortable. She mentioned that I was nervous yet I knew what she looked like and had read her reviews as to how she would perform. She said think of how I feel when I open the door to a new client for the first time. The ladies can be even more nervous that first time and if a picture helps then mentally prepare I see no problem with it.
Now I used to think I was number 4 myself, until the day I was waiting for my daughter at the hair salon, looked across the room into a mirror and said to myself who's that wrinkly old man sitting over there?

its totally different for the provider, that comes with the territory for them and they get paid good money to having their pictures "out there". And I pay good money to keep my anonymity intact. And as someone who works in the tech industry I put a high priority on keeping my information and pictures of myself online private.
I thought I would mention one other reason why a provider might ask for a picture, as I am one who has done this in the past....
....because some of us don't just do this. Some of us, like you gentleman out there, have normal "civie" jobs in addition to being providers. In mine, I see a lot of people on a daily basis repeatedly that I might not know the full name of but they know mine and they also see my boss regularly. I would never want to run the risk of having one of those people contact me and set up an appointment and then not know that it's someone who knows who I am in my personal "normal" life. I am always fearful of that connection happening.
Just as much as some of you have to protect your identities..so do some of us who don't do this full-time. It's a give-and-take and obviously has to include a level of trust. Also, as a provider who is very low-volume, I typically see gentleman friends out of my home, I know all of them very, very well and rarely take new clients, but if I did, I would definitely want to know exactly who they are and what they look like before they show up so I know it's the same person I have been speaking with when setting up the date. After-all, it is my personal home and I would like to keep it as safe and discreet as possible. Now there is always the option of meeting in public first or the gentleman getting a hotel if he is really uncomfortable sending me a photo, but some people just don't have the extra time for that or don't want to spend the extra money on it.
Just thought I would add an extra perspective in there. It seems like it is often forgotten that although we may be providers offering a service, many of us do have completely normal other sides to our lives that don't involve this at all which also need to be protected as much as possible. Just my 2 cents.
