You're talking about a bunch of guys that have to pay to get laid. They should count themselves lucky if a whore wants to see them for free. Review or not.

Not every guy has a beautiful wife and/or a mistress they can turn to when they want to get their dick wet, then on occasion go get some strange here and there and get 'weird' requests from hookers trying to up their standings on this stupid-ass shit.

been having goddamn whores calling and texting me asking if i'd see them for free. seems they recently got some bad reviews and feel a review from me would bring them back to the positive side of the pool. do hookers really seek out reviewers who have a good standing in the hobby community? fuck that shit, if they did their fucking job right they wouldnt have to look for "cherry" reviews. what self respecting hobbyist would do this sort of thing?

It is very unlikely that a john will repeat a session that he wrote a bad review on.  The that he saw might be new and truly is interested in improving. There is a possibility that they could see each other and he update the review performance.

For me it is very unlikely because I want to see different providers all the time or someone who gave me outstanding performance to begin with.

I write reviews which will help since you haven't had one in awhile. I refused as nice as I could and said call me the next time your in town we don't pay for reviews. Mind you he had cancelled 2 times in 3 days and this was last minute. He offered me 160 to go to his hotel. This put a bad taste in my mouth for TER men but I know there are few that do this.

2 weeks go by and I see he wrote a review for a provider who charges 160 and he said she spent plenty of extra time with him. Also said they talked on her time and agreed to a 90 minute deal...Her review was an 8/9 with plenty of embelishment. Her next reviews were 6 and 7.

Following month I get an alias review with 7/7 and wonder if this man who stood me up 2 times already wrote this review. I clicked on one of his out of town posts and there are fewer reviews on record than he has posted so that means he writes alias reviews. The words were fine and spot on about me but just wonder since he plays these games. He refused to go to the location of my choice and wanted to deal with price so what would you think

I think it's sad that this chit happens.
But you Miss Haley made the right choice imho.
It sucks that guys will sucker a provider and that a provider will go for the ride. It puts an asterisk on the review system. I detest the alias review..I think it has no credibility.

true true I agree but further more I think personally, but it is up to the ladies though, if a review pops up for you and you do not remember it or it is at least  90% correct then you should be able to tell TER that it is a fake and to please remove it and they should with out question. But again that is up to you.

Just because a provider doesn't remember a reviewer does not make the review fake.  Allowing providers to remove reviews without question would completely destroy any value to over 750,000 reviews.  While this site isn't perfect, and we all know that fake reviews sneak in from time to time, no other fuck board comes close to the integrity of TER.  Your decision to make it more provider friendly would completely destroy it's value.

You only get one alias to review under and you can PM and be PMed by that alias. But you can't post under that alias. As each person only gets one alias, it is more like a second handle, thus there is accountability. Your plan would fail do to the fact you only have one review alias and your handle to review under. Such abuses can now be discovered. Now TER fixed them I now like the feature.

Actually, I'm getting tired of the subject. I'll never use one, I'm that stubborn, and since my VIP is going to be up in 9 days, I don't see the point of renewing.

You weigh the pros and the cons. In this case, being on this site, the cons outweigh the pros.

I've already cut down on my participation as far as posting.

I don't know. All I know is I don't like the scheme of things and I'll migrate elsewhere in time. And I ain't the only one.

And since you are limited to on and can't delete it once you create it, they are like a second handle that you can't post with.

Some guys have a lot to loose, wife, kid, job, half they own if a provider outs them. Some can't afford to be as out as you and I are. The review alias makes it possible for them to review with increased anonymity they need to stay safe. But because they only have one review alias, they can't abuse it and are still accountable anymore then they can their regular handle.

Plus now you can PM them and they can using their review alias PM back. It is a lot like any other handle. I think now they made some changes, done a wonderful thing with review aliases. I didn't like them back when you couldn't PM them and you could have more then one (or at least I thought you could) for fear of abuse.

Each of us must weigh the pros and cons of this site and make up their own mind. As for me now they scaled back the most easily abused of the new features, I think TER is better then ever. I know some of your gripes have nothing to do with features. To those you must decide if it is worth it to you. I would not blame you if you did leave, but please note your drunken devil may care posts would be missed by some, like me.

I can't tell if that review is someone I have seen or not but sure sounds like he did. Reviews are what they are , a great erotic story to wet your whistle. The numbers are lower and this gentlemen still lingers in the back of my mind. We ladies use that little inner voice to keep us safe for years before reviews and references.

An alias review can go a few ways so I am not fighting that here but I am making a note that certain gentlemen do use their review power as a calling card. Let's say some think a discount might be in order for their hard work...lol It's only happened a few times in my 4 year history here and each time I was so disappointed in these guys and thought what a loser. Those who remember me from early days on the newbie board know how strongly I felt about TER and how much you can learn to stay safe.

I wish I could post the girls reviews so you could see what I mean. After his review 3 other gents saw her and were not as excited about her performance. Maybe they should have sold their expert review power on her as well. It could turn out like that...

Is 7 not a number provider's like to see for a performance score? It's tough to give higher than a 7 since with TER's review rules its often the highest we're allowed to give. For the looks score I can understand expecting higher though.

I look in the mirror myself and can be comfortable in my skin but admit my flaws...

Now i'd like to think I have the biggest mouth on TER and know how to use it but i'll take my place long behind the rest of the pack. I guess we all have an ego deep down inside and those numbers are a good way to kill it.

Getting back to reality, yes every lady would love to see all 10's and know every man she spends time with thinks she's special.

Okay, here's what I took out of your post...

You're apparently so angry because providers have called and texted you about "free sessions".

If these ladies were 8's and 9's in appearance, I highly doubt you would turn them down.

So these ladies must be ugly or your story is missing something.
