My Q- does anyone NOT like it?  She gets maximum envelopment, I get maximum penetration, we both get maximum activity AND i get to look at that ass while I hit it!  Every SO or GF I have ever been with loved this part!

I mean I realize that there are plenty of choices- but who does not like this one?

I simply find doggie to be an entirely impersonal position.  I want to see the lady's expression as she is in the throws of extacy.  If I can't see her face while I am fucking her, I cannot truly get into the moment.   On a related observation, I am sure that this is why doggie tends to be the favorite position of many, if not most providers.  They can much more easily disassociate themselves from the particular client that they are with, and fantasize it being whomever they would prefer to be with.  Also, doggie puts a far lower premium on their acting skills than does any more intimate position.

Although I enjoy viewing the "ass-ets" of the provider, I enjoy the eye-to-eye and mouth to mouth contact - more intimate.
And doggie is an easy way to dissociate for both the provider and providee...

...."in between" position. Doggie is an erotic position to transition to during MPCFS, but I personally enjoy all the different variations of missionary. Legs in air, legs to the side, legs up on shoulders, it's all good.

Being an ASS man like I am, I do have a soft spot for the doggie position, but it isn't my favorite.

Being single and having no SO,I have to have a degree of intimacy in my sessions, and MISH is where it's at.

No disagreement with the "pro" agruments above, but the one thing missing is seeing her face and reading cues from it.  I most prefer something that gives me a good view of her reactions, though it's hard to not like almost any positioning.

Guys- ever heard of mirrors?

Nice to know I'm not alone. I can never get comfortable in doogie position. Tend to do it only when provider likes and requests it. Like to face the woman, mutual kissing and touching, more intimate for me. Cowgirl when I need a little rest and enjoy watching provider enjoy herself. Reverse cowgirl is the compromise since it is much like doggie in terms of angle of penetration without the knee burns. Maybe I'm just not good at it...short legs have me always in uncomfortable position to enjoy.

I agree with Old Traveler...I like the interaction, and there is nothing to make me feel the love better than seeing my partner enjoying herself on top of me.  Doggie is nice, and the visual is great, and it can be an interesting role experience for both partners, but I want to go out with my lover on top of me, looking at her sweet face and feeling her full strength against mine.

When I really have the dog going, I see those involuntary quivers rippling through her ass and body and for the pales ones, waves of red sweeping across her skin, that is my confirmation that she is into it.  I am with Sully, nothing like looking at a beautiful ass while I am in a full hump.
