Just want to take a poll here.
How many of us (clients and providers) are Scorpios?
I've seen a few birthday greetings lately, I just had mine and fully 40% of the ten or so providers whose birthdays I know, are Scorpios.
I suspect that we Scorpios are represented well over the 8-9% that random math would imply.
Are we really the horn dogs that everyone says we are?
I'm willing to bet that we are.
Everyone line up and vote.
Sorry if this makes for a lengthy thread.
Of the 3 scorpio providers I know, 2 of them are "hot" and really get into the session (no faking)and genuinely love the give and take that make for the best sessions on the planet. The other is a bit jaded and does well if you catch her on her best day, but is mentally aloof too.
I am a Scorpio- I just celebrated my Birthday last weekend 10/28 I also have a disproportionate number of clients who are Scorpio(*but that could be because we have similar personalities, so that isn’t a true indicator*) My guess is that you too… kind Sir (*with all respect*) because you are a Scorpio you just might have a tendency to associate with other Scorpios…. And thus would like to believe that “Our types” are more prone to be in the hobby.
But fear not, I am not trying to flame you in any way… If the truth be known, I too, would like to believe there are more Scorpios in the hobby (*what can I say, I like that personality*)
However, some of those quiet, more logical Zodiac signs can definitely be a powerful combination if matched properly *LOL*
Happy Belated Birthday…
Kisses…Tori
I noticed alot of birthday announcements on the boards right around my b-day but I decided I'd rather be private and not reveal my birth date.

I am a Sagitarius, but I beleive the astrologers also describe me as a "Sagitarius/Scorpio cusp" whatever the heck that means because my birthday is 11/30, and comes only one week after the switch from Scorpio to Sagitarius.
That stuff is all superstition anyways though. Right? ![]()
I was sure that Astrology was a crock.
A professor of mine at BU was Lew Kowarsky of CERN in Europe and he led a crusade against astrology much to his detriment with the new age crowd, but I considered him a mentor and leader. In truth, he was a very brilliant man.
But now as I grow older and less sure that I knew everything, I like to think that anything is possible.
By conducting this poll, we may learn something yet.
(Part of learning is forgetting what you used to think was true.)
As for being on a cusp, I always understood it to be a couple of days on either side of the transition between signs. Some might say it's a full week though (shrug). What it basically means is that you share some traits of the neighboring sign.
And guess what, Sins - my birthday's 11/30, too! You think we should start a revolt with a Sagitarrians Rule thread? (G)
Well happy birthday (a little bit early)!
Now you just lay back and relax while I get this wick positioned juuust right so I can 'blow out' the candles *grin*
...oh...my....
And an early happy one to you as well.
Spankings all around! (g!)
Count me among the Scorpios (11/3). Interesting poll!
Most of my family members are scorpios. So are most of my close friends and favorite co-workers and bosses. November is a busy (and expensive!) month for me in terms of birthday gifts and parties.
While I'm not really into astrology it was pointed out to me that aquarius (tha's me) and scorpios tend to be a great match in friendship, work and relationships.
It's likely a considence, but a strong one.

Sir Arthur Conan Doyle said through the his famous detective, Sherlock Holmes, "There is no such thing as a coincidence."
It's all connected somehow.
I've heard that Scorpios get along with just about every other sign except for Taurus. (So ask me what my ex was. ![]()
Yep... a half a century in a few more days!! My wife was an aquarius, we made it 25 yrs., got along great most of the time. Maybe there's more to this than meets the eyeball.
Certainly, Scorpios are very passionate and intriguing, and a lot of them in the hobby, along w/Taureans, Leos, Aquarians, etc. always made a point to ask my clients their sign, just out of curiosity. a little bit of everything except Pisces guys. sometimes I wonder if I am the only Pisces provider in the biz. I think Librans are highly sensual ![]()
Yes we are the true dogs out there... got mine coming up in a week
10/23, on the cusp of libra. astrology is a crock of shit, you were right back when you knew everything ![]()
Which means we're two-thirds of a three way. ![]()
