Looking at the map makes me want to take a chill pill in terms of seeing a provider that I have never seen before. Now I am seeing why so many providers are going underground and not seeing new clients.

I find it very interesting that with the stings going on that you don't hear to much about them in the news.

Looks like the TBD bust is going nationwide. Scary. I wonder if webhosting companies will get in trouble for hosting a provider web site ?

I am wondering if there is any data on LE/Vice busts by geographic area in terms of numbers of providers/ numbers of clients, etc?  Also there has been a lot of discussion of the types of behaviors LE can engage in during a sting op.  Is there any way to collect data & post it on TER?  Would the posting of that kind of data be considered "facilitation of a crime"?  Just Curious in Arizona

Isn't there something called the "Freedom of Information Act?"  If so, any info gathered from that source ought to be available to the general public, and I would expect disseminating that information should be protected by the First Amendment.  If it's priveledged internal information, that would be another story.

If reporting police behaviour and tactics were illegal, Joe Wambaugh, Mark Fuhrmann, et al, would be behind bars.  As long as you're not reporting on an on-going investigation, I would think any closed cases (solved or not) would be up for grabs.  Hell, they never (really) solved the Black Dahlia case, and how many books have been written about that?

Any legally-obtained info would benefit all of us.  I'm sure LE will try to find a way to scuttle it, though.  Cockroaches don't like the light.
