I bedded women indiscriminately in my youth with the enthusiasm that can overcome a man IN his youth; now for some years I have been feeling a deeper urge for the erotic over the sexual.

That can come packaged very differently. And is very personal. I find myself reflecting on past and future encounters with different vistas.

Although this is "The Erotic Review" I rarely read anything that is truely erotic.

Is my viewpoint simply too jaded, or do others agree?

Erotic is glowing embers, barely contained heat, sexual is the fire overflowing...
the actions of what we engage in to express this are just that, no more, no less.

Jaded?  It didn't sound that way in your post, though if you ask, perhaps you are?

I agree, rarely do I read anything truely erotic here, just descriptions of the physical... and most likely we will see even less without NetM posting.

The rainbow of scenarios may be physical, mental or juxtapostions of both. Diminishing or amplifying.

Expression may MANIFESTLY be erotic or sexual; it can take different textures and we DO call it different names.

Will and desire are our neuronic mindset; honed by sequences of events.

Heat\Tension; Cool/Relaxed.

Control\Giving; Forced/Receiving

And ALWAYS looking for a most different viewpoint.

Tension is at once very erotic and very sexual.

And very explosive

Vulneralbility can be a key.

The physical is a manifestation of energy, experience is a flavor of flow and movement... it is that shape you speak of.  Experience is how we perceive it - as you say, how we diffuse and/or funnel it.

Yes, different textures and flavors and sounds (all but a complex chain reaction of chemical and electrical vibratory frequencies...) and we use many names to describe it, because we feel it and experience it differently, though it is not a different energy.  

Those equal and opposites, the Oneness, the container of everything which is everything, that grain of sand which contains the mysteries of the universe.
