What is this shit going on that TER's CC processor cannot process my payment by CC? Then TER offers its pitifully shitty lame list of options that most people are totally unfamiliar with? Is TER trying to get rid of paid VIP membership? Very frustrating. I mean, it's not like I'm looking for some god damned "Walmart Special". I just want what I've paid for in the past, here at TER. Fuck! And, if TER moderators don't like this message, fuck you too!

You realize that TER and many others operate on the hairy edge of the law and that makes payment processing difficult.  In the USA you can lose your payment processing access for voting for the wrong guy for president if the wrong people find out about it.

FOSTA/SESTA, which was why TER went dark for 20 months in the US, you will find that the bill extends the definitions of who is liable for sex trafficking, pimping, etc., so advertising platforms, review sites and escorts, among others have to retool how they receive payments.  When the bill was first passed, there were escorts and johns having their credit cards cancelled by using them in the sex industry.  TER may be doing you a favor if you're trying to pay with a regular mastercard, visa or Amex card.   The "shitty list of options" is how you get the VIP you want during the time of FOSTA/SESTA.  Pick one.  I think having the bank cancel your credit card would be even shittier.  Just my opinion.  

My VIP expired on Saturday. I immediately started trying to re-up for another year using the same MC that I used last year, and I repeatedly kept getting the rejection message. I tried on my PC, iPad, and iPhone, all with the same results. I also tried an AMEX card, and same result. I must have been rejected 30 times. Then this morning I tried again with the MC and voila, it worked. There's no rhyme nor reason. I guess the moral of the story is to just keep firing.

I tried and failed. Admin told to keep trying but to use the same care. They extended my VIP until my card went through. Took a couple of weeks.

Gift cards work fine and protect your privacy better than a credit card.

I second oldtimemonger's observation.  I pay with gift cards.  You pay a premium.  But, you get total anonymity.

I agree. I just used a Starbucks gift card and it was easy and anonymous.

I paid with Bitcoin.  Bought it on an exchange, transferred it to an anonymous hot wallet and then transferred it to TER.
