I was glad to see this poll. To me it's meaningful because it seems to be an effort to improve this site from great to even greater. I too, am one of the 50% that go straight to "search reviews" and have often thought there were far too many clicks to get there (ok ok it's not like digging ditches but it's still improveable).
Here are the steps that it takes for me to accomplish a search inside TER (absent the browser plugin that I use when not on the Mac).
1. go to www.theeroticreview.com (bookmarked) 2 clicks 2. "agree" - 1 click 3. Login - 1 click + password + click (suggestion: enter phone # & click search) 4. Reviews - 1 click 5. Search Reviews - 1 Click and 6. Scroll down to phone # field, scroll up or down to click search.
My suggestion would be to place a search box on the homepage (between step 3 & 4) that does a telephone # search. I'm assuming the Tel # is the top search criteria based on the plug in using it (no programmer would not have investigated that one).
That's 8 clicks versus 6 clicks. That's 25% better! Better for us. Better for the server (less page views). Better for bandwidth utilization and maybe a few more.
Next time you get to the search reviews page, bookmark it. That way you go straight to that page when you select your bookmark. I can safely assume that you have no fear of anyone using your computer (wife, girlfriend) because you have TER bookmarked. Therefore if you save passwrod so you can automatically log-in, then it should be much easier.
Click TER bookmark. Click Log-in. Click Submit. Click search.
1- searching Escort mall sites, like cityvibe or eros
- Finding the one you like
- Searching TER for her reviews.
Or
2- start from TER and search for girls who match your criteria, ( looks, rates, location, service,...etc) . Then go through the results and check their online webpages.
The difference is:
You will waste so much time and may face so much disappointment using the first method, while the 2nd method not only saves you time, but also gives you exactly what you want.....
TER plugin is great for the 1st one and the "search reviews" bookmark for the 2nd...
