Is is worth it to sign up for these services?

In my personal opinion, YES!!! it worth it!!! and a lot!!!
In the tree of the sites mentioned above; providers and hobbiest, are pre-screened before joining the sites. On providers cases, they ask for information as websites, reviews and (if possible) show proof of activity on boards. If they don't feel comfortable with that, they ask other providers or hobbiest to vouch for them.
I would say is a secure place for both parties.
In my personal case I think that are a reliable and confidential source for screening and search purpouses.
For us (Providers) is fast ans easy to use when screening and for you (Hobbiest), a secure place to find providers and stay away from LE.

Hmm... Date check is my personal favorite, but unfortunately it doesn't do much good for those without refs, as they won't let you join unless another member will verify that they've seen you. More for the established than the newbie...
that accept these services for the pre-screening? I don't see that many pages that ask for the info. Does the lady have to be a member to view the prescreened info on the client?
I am a member of preferred411 and its really good. Granted they don't have a review system like TER or ASPD, but it make the screening process really easy. For example, I'm seeing a girl later this week and I gave my preferred411 information. She replied wit the comment "I love it when you have your P411 ID. It makes it so easy to screen."
Preferred411 also gives you profile were you can put your likes and dislike that only established providers can see. When you give a provider this information she can view this profile and there is no worry about talking in code words about preferences in e-mail or over the phone.
I see preferred411 and TRE as being two sites that complement each other. TRE let you tell the hobbiy comunity about the women you have seen and preferred411 let the women acknolage that they have seen you. It really quite nice.

I love Preferred411 and date-check the best. I think that RS2K is mostly used around Chicago and I let my membership go on that one.

Some services are more frequently used in some areas than in others. For example, it's hard to do any hobbying with reputable ladies in Dallas/Fort Worth WITHOUT being a P411 member, but it doesn't get used very much in my home market of DC/Baltimore.
That said, it can make short-notice screening much easier, and if there's ever a possibility that you're going to be seeing a lady while traveling, or without a lot of notice, I'd go ahead.
