I get occasional newsletters from a few different providers and don't mind them at all. They keep me abreast (pun intended) of their schedules and alert me to any specials that they may currently be running.
If a lady has a presence at one of the rare-escort sites, I sign up for the newsletter feature. (That is one of the reason I recommend that new providers use that site if they do not already have one.)
If she is one of the few travelling ladies I have seen, I will check her travel schedule.
However, the only thing that I really care about is if a lady is having special prices. I don't care about additional photos. And I don't care to read a dairy about her thoughts and activities.
The only information that is relevant to most hobbyists is when the provider will be available for appointments or if there is a change to her donation level. A simple E-mail stating when and where the provider will be in your particular city is sufficient. Anything beyond this information (including your photos. I’d prefer to see you in person) is superfluous and a waste of time to read and or admire.
If you want to send select newsletters to those hobbyists who you share more than your typical provider/hobbyist relationship with (i.e. someone whose company you enjoy "off the proverbial clock") go ahead and send it to them. They may actually enjoy reading about your private thoughts goals and desires.
But for hobbyists like myself who have absolutely NO relationship with any provider outside of my time with her during a paid session, I really am not interested in reading any details about your life. What you do off the clock and outside of providing (or for that matter what you do on the clock with another hobbyist)is your business alone and of no concern or interest to me.
I subscribe to the newsletters of traveling ladies that I am interested in. This way I can keep up with their schedules without having to check their calendars once a week or so.
Otherwise, I think journals/blogs, such as yours Melanie, are more interesting. The immediacy of the posting lets your personality flow through. I can imagine with a newsletter it ends up being a bit more forced since you may have to write about multiple topics in a sitting.
