Maybe this seems weird, but I am sure I am not the only girl out there that enjoys wearing a good perfume. However, I want to ask the guys-if it's female companionship that you are looking for, do you want your female companion to hab at it and wear perfume/essential oils/smells? Does it add to your experience of enjoyment, being that it's activating the senses? I know everyone's preferences will vary, but being that I was just given a bottle of perfume, and that I want to be respectful of the gentlemen I see, I need to know all sides of the spectrum.

Yes, I enjoy it when  a lady wears perfume/essential oils, etc.  It does add to the experience.  I am single, so I don't have to worry about coming home with the smell of perfume on me.  Maybe the married gents have some concerns with this.

they probably do, but if it's at an incall location, I always offer them a chance to shower up. Seems only fair, right?

nothing heavy and overbearing.  Just enough that as I go in for that first kiss I smell it and when I nuzzle her neck it graces my nostrils.

Just a dab in the right places is all it takes to get my motor running.

As for leaving traces...I am sure that any guy who can cover the scent of sex and hide the money spent on hobbying will have no trouble covering the scent of a little perfume.

Of course to be safe, you could ask ahead of time if they prefer you scented or unscented...lol.

Yes, scents are what triggers memories more than any of the other senses. When hinted at and not overbearing, the scent of a woman seeps into a guys brain probably without him knowing. Then all the things he will remember from you will be tied to that scent.

I enjoy a woman who has a seductive aura about her, and that includes everything right down to how she smells when gently kissing along her neck (or other places :) )

On a side note I have had a similar discussion with past girlfriends along the lines of what perfume/cologne to wear. I think in a relationship you should wear whatever perfume/cologne your SO likes and wants you to wear regardless of your own likes. Once you put it on yourself, you don't smell yourself after a few minutes anyway, but your SO will smell it all day. Why not wear what he/she likes?

Just a touch of some nice essential oil is very sensual, and adds to the experience. The right oils can be used for a lot more than just the scent. Perfumes can be overbearing if you put on a little too much, but just a little can be very sexy.

I love the scents of a woman both those occurring naturally (hhmmm, love the smell of a nice, fresh, clean pussy) and perfumes, etc.  It's wonderful to approach a woman with hints of flowers, ah!

However, since I do have an SO, yeah, I have to have access to a shower afterwards.  But it's more than worth it.

The only real problem I would have is the strength of the scent.  Too strong and I'd have to ask the lady if she can wash it off.  No one wants to gag during a DFK.

I'd say no.  As any guy on this board knows, your SO has a sense for scents-of any kind, especially when there is a difference from usual.  From 10 feet away, she can tell if I had a drink or was in a smoky place before coming home.  Not in a nagging way, but just announces, 'So where'd you stop?'.  This tells me not to come home with any perfume, etc. So I need to shower, drink some coffee, and even bring a second shirt to wear to the appointment so I can come home with the same clothes I left in.  No need to raise suspicions.

When I was a degenerate teenage boy I'd go out drinking with my friends and they would buy toothpaste or mouthwash to rinse and gargle with at the end of the night to fool their parents. They never understood why they always got caught, and never realized that since their normal daily breath smelled like the back half of a menstruating skunk, that coming home from a "night out with the boys" smelling like sweet spearmint, was a dead giveaway.

Today I am a degenerate single man, and I love the light scent of perfume on a woman, and I love to smell it on me for hours after the session is over. But my married buddies can't take that scent home with them - and sometimes the shower won't completely remove it. And even if the shower DOES completely remove it, how do you explain coming home from your "late meeting" freshly showered? Now you have to make sure your alibi contains a good reason for showering.

Always best to go scentless, or at least ask the client first.

because I don't get to hobby often, and only when I am out of town ( no providers without 3 hours of me) then I want the whole experience. I love the smell of a women who know just how much to wear to rev my engine but not stall it out...anyway just my 2 cents worth

Much like what has been reported, I like just enough, that I smell it when I draw near enough to nussle your ear and neck. Sometimes, just the fragrance of your shampoo, soap or body lotion is enough.

Definitely leave it off if the gent has no opportunity to shower before leaving, due to the SO issue.

A waft of a classy perfume drives me insane (in a good way ;-) ) ... not too strong, just tasteful.

in my home town, coming home with a scent is a definite no-no;

otherwise, when traveling, I love it (in fact I always love it - both perfume and natural body juices whose scent lingers around my face after a good DATY session, and if I had my druthers, I'd not shower but take it with me to savor for a while);

I am of the same opinion as some others here.  I love the smell of some subtle oil.

Perfume is, generally for me, too over-powering and also tends to have an alcohol kind of base that I don't care for.  I have smelled some in the past that I liked, but it is very rare.  If I am attracted to a women's scent, it is almost always an oil (or her natural pheromones).

I can certainly see where the hobbyist with an SO waiting at home would prefer no additional incriminating evidence.  But since I don't have that worry, I love returning home with that lingering reminder of the great time just shared.

The sense of smell is most directly linked to memory.  And boy are some of those memories worth reliving every now and then!

"liquor breath" comes from the mouth, it actually comes from the lungs, and mouthwash ain't gonna hide that.

That's why vodka is always a perenial favorite.

.... like, no matter how drunk you are, you can always order more:

"vodka, please"
"vodka!"
"vokka!!"
"vuh...kuh"
"vuk! vuk! vuk! vuk!"
and so on....

for that matter, you can just skip the liquor and go straight for the mouthwash:

Alcohol in Mouthwash
Listerine          26.9%
Scope              18.9%
Signal             14.5%
Cepacol            14.0%
Listermint          6.6%

and when you throw up, it's minty-fresh!

but I can do without the perfume.  All of my memories of the ladies I've seen include their scent; not just their natural smell and essence, but the deeper scent that releases during lovemaking as our bodies' heat meets and mixes during coupling and grinding and exploring with our tongues and fingers and....

oops, excuse me, I have to go to the bathroom. :-)

There is nothing like a sweet smelling woman.  Now, I hobby when I am traveling on businss.  If the lady comes to my hotel room, I will shower after she leaves so as not to put an aroma on my sleepwear.

If I go see her, I will ask to shower if I smell any perfume at all during our time together.  The perfume gets on you when you are getting undressed as well as when you are naked.  Then, if you don't shower, the smell gets on your clothes.  It smells good but when you get home, others will notice.

Sometimes there are advantages to being single.

I use a white tea lotion every morning that leaves a very light scent on my skin, and spray my skin with a body spray by Naturistics that has a very fresh and clean scent. I am often told that I smell wonderful, but the best part is that both the lotion and body spray are very light scents and short lasting, so my gentleman friends don't walk out the door smelling like me :)

Good question!  I always cater to the gentlemans preference, but when I bathe, I spritz 1 spritz of french perfume on the back/;nape of my neck/hair bent over so that it is actually under my hair on the back/nape of my neck, and a tiny dab on each shoulder. Those are not typical places a man would lick or kiss, and it is the perfect amount.

I love Givenchy. (Hot Couture) mmmmmm It is all I wear.

Again, this has been an educational thread and I learned a few things reading it. Thank you for posting it!

If the scent is attractive to me, I don't mind, but being married, you should ask first.

HOWEVER, I absolutely love the scent of a woman's wetness on my face, often wait as long as possible before washing it off!

Only problem is that the ladies seem to clean themselves so well before a visit- that even if very wet, the scent is not strong.  Necessity if they've seen someone before me, but I found I really enjoyed a recent travel engagement with an ATF where sex was more like real life- spontaneous and not always right afer a douche or thorough cleaning-  I was in heaven for the trip!!!!!!!!!

You need to come to LA  , you look amazing. Love the ink.

Anyway... The thing that always gets me with civvie girls is when they walk by and you catch that hint (not stripper heavy scent..) of a fragrance/oil/ -- almost always a hot chick. You usually just close your eyes and roll them back into your head and breathe heavily. IT's definitely important. Nothing makes me lose my mind quicker than an attractive , nice girl with a crisp-fruit type fragrance, it's intoxicating.

To me hobbying is about fantasy and being taken to another world, and as was mentioned this produces a good experience as well as memories.

Not weird at all!  I enjoy a good smelling woman as long as it's not real heavy and overpowering.  A fresh, clean soapy type of smell is greatly appreciated.

Now as far as the "other" scent of a woman - oh yeah!  I happen to be a pussy eating fool and prefer to play in the morning - and love savoring the smell and taste on my moustache through the rest of the day.  LOL

I always ask my date ahead of time if he is allergic to any perfumes or oils. If he doesn't like perfume, that gives him the opportunity to tell me not to wear it. Plus, a man will usually shower after our date.

Hugs,
Ciara
