Risk Management...

We are engaged in an inherently risky "hobby."  Risks that we minimize are those from LE, SO, and STD.  For me, the awareness of STD is prevalent - how do I mitigate?
- practice safe sex - no BBFS
- research and meet ladies of certain levels - so no BP ladies, which is now a moot point
- periodic testing

I’m putting this out to both the gentlemen and the providers; I'm very eager to hear what both sides have to say.  I ‘m fairly new to the hobby, and have had some amazing experiences with some beautiful and gracious ladies.  What I am concerned about is safe versus unsafe sex, and various behaviors that can lead to transmissions of STDs.  When I read the reviews from gents and they describe what goes down in their session, I don’t know what to think.  It seems almost EVERYBODY has a BBBJ, and sometimes even CIM.  But this blows my mind; I’d love to do BBBJ and CIM, but what about the risks?  Same thing with DATY and DATO – it’s bodily fluids connecting right with your mouth. Transmissions of fluids, especially if there is a small cut in the mouth, can lead to catching STDs. (Google "Risks of Unprotected Oral Sex" for info.)

And we all know that someone can have an STD for weeks before symptoms even show up.  So a gentleman or a provider could be passing it along unintentionally.  (Remember that saying: when you have sex with someone, you’re also having sex with every person THEY had sex with.)

And hell – there’s even STDs that can be transmitted just grinding P2P!  (Google "Skin contact STDs" to find out more.)

So ladies and gents, give me some feedback.  What is your level of awareness on this?  Not sure?  Or are you aware and it’s just, “Damn the torpedoes – I really want to come in her mouth, and I’ll deal with any problems later.”  And ladies…how about you?  How do you keep yourself safe AND satisfy your client?

Finally, no judgments or arguments please; I am putting this out because there are men and women who are VERY experienced in all this, and I want to learn from their experience and knowledge.  Thanks in advance to all who share.  We all have the same goal:  an erotic, safe and amazing experience for everybody!

Exchange test results. Many pro women get tested monthly, and you should have results that are as recent as hers especially if you are going to do anything risky.

Condoms also help, but they are not 100%. Apparently, the female condoms are more comfortable and safer, but I haven't tried them yet.

I have been following this approach for nearly 30 years, and no STDs so far. However, I am pretty selective and mostly see women who are also selective. This may have something to do with this.

I've had concerns contracting herpes or HPV, the ones that condoms have little effectiveness preventing.  I've tested negative for herpes which I find amazing, because providers have had sex with hundreds or thousands of people and the sex partner tree keeps branching endlessly.  Herpes can also be contracted without symptoms, and there is no test for HPV for men.  I've avoided doing any more DATY to help reduce the risk.  BBBJ is still a risk but condom bjs are no fun.

Hon, just don't do the BB thing. It's not worth the risk. I know a lot of ladies do it. You can contract any STD by doing that. If you wear a cover, there's a lot less. There's a website that helped me figure out the risk levels of everything. BB is just not worth it. I'd recommend just googling the statistics. It's a lot more dangerous for the lady to do it, than it is for the man to recieve it, for obvious reasons.

I really hope that these ladies are just sneaking covers on to protect themselves without the gentleman knowing.
