Seeing another thread leads me to this question. What do clients and other providers think is the best way to deal with a provider who rips off a client for a large some of money like several thousand?  Not just an hour or two but like all day rates and overnights??  

I think it would be interesting to hear how reputable providers think that their fellow not so good provider should be addressed.

This question was based off another thread. My question is general if a smart decision or bad but want would  clients do if taken for a large sum of money. Would most just take it as a loss??? Confront provider???  What real options are there?

This is just a what if. Put your own scenario where you are out your donation but didnt get the service you expect or as advertised. Lets say you pay for a dinner date and private time $1500-2000. While on date you get no attention at all and back at hotel she is like im tired or dont feel well i need to go. Takes her donation and leaves. Would you just accept your out the money or would you make contact with provider???

Not really.... dont care who sees and dont  do reviews and the question is just as stated a what if. After reading several threads where clients were ripped off my question is just a general what would a client do??? Or more so what do other providers think of poor providers and what do they think a client should do.

If you're looking for a companion for a weekend, most of us would be looking for a reputable provider. Moreover, most (I believe) would only be looking at companions we have seen before - where there is some level of mutual trust and respect, not to mention compatibility.

I also don't see that much cash at risk... maybe a deposit, but how on earth would all of your weekend cash be at risk?

Don't forget that anytime we agree to meet, both provider and client are at some risk if the meeting does not occur or from a client or provider with nefarious intent. The question seems prejudicial from the outset.  Why would you assume a gal is more likely to "cash and dash" than a guy is to "short" her?  

I guess a direct answer to your question is that unless you sent all that cash to her upfront, in order to get it you would have had to have met and you could then write a ripoff review. If the client shorts the provider, she can blacklist.  

What other recourse would you want or need?

I guess he did a poor job phrasing his question, because I seem to be the only one who actually understood it. Let's put it in terms you can understand. Let's say a guy agrees to spending a weekend with a hooker and the agreed amount is $10,000 for the weekend. They meet, she's hot, he's pleased and he gives her an envelope full of cash and the first thing she does is excuse herself to the ladies room never to be heard from again.  

 
In this scenario, what recourse does he have? Yes he can write a ripoff review, but that is hardly going to get him his money back. It's actually a fair question and it doesn't have to be a $10,000 weekend date. It could be as he mentioned in his second post a dinner date where she simply never "puts out" for the money received. Once again, unless he wants to commit multiple felonies and simply "take" his money back, his options in an illegal business are rather limited. Just like you can't call the cops if your dealer sells you baby laxative instead of cocaine, neither can you call the authorities when a hooker (or a john) doesn't deliver as agreed.

 
As you said, the only real recourse any of us have is a client can write a ripoff review and a provider can blacklist, it's not a perfect solution, but right now at least, it's the best that we've got, well it's the best we've got in THIS country at least, in countries where prostitution is legal both hookers and johns alike can report ripoffs to the cops and I have personally seen both hookers and johns get the cops involved when one or the other were ripped off.

Lloyd's of London will insure almost anything, but even they won't cover illegal activity.

I still wonder at the validity of the question (the risk) if dealing with a provider you know. It seems a purely hypothetical question without much practical relevance.

I doubt any of us would recommend spending a weekend on a first time meet with an unknown or disreputable provider.

Just like the thread the OP was referencing where the guy was wondering about spending $9k for a weekend date with a woman he didn't know, guys do all sorts of dumb things, not knowing of course that they are dumb. That's the whole purpose of TER though isn't it? To keep guys from doing quite as many stupid things in our never ending quest for pussy. lol

 
Personally I have spent a lot of weekends with women I have never met before, but I have never committed to spending more than an hour or two with a woman prior to meeting in person.  My weekend dates with "strange women" just kind of happened AFTER getting to know them for an hour or two and the dates just kind of extended themselves by mutual agreement.

 
Lastly, assuming the OP is a newbie, there are no providers that he "already knows" Every provider he meets at first will be his "first time" with her, so the question is a very valid one, assuming of course that he is actually a newbie.

Since really seeing providers but not to long ago jumped back into trying the hobby. I am a newbie as for deciding to make a post but have followed TER for sometime, mainly reading the boards. As for the hobby now, I do see one provider and we have a very good rapport with each other. I don't want to see anyone else. In fact she is coming to see me soon. I'm not out to sample the "buffet" so to speak. My question was meant to be simple in nature. If on a first date or after many, what are the typical clients response to being taking for a large amount of money? Nothing more. Are there other avenues than just writing a bad revue? Have clients reached out to provider? Things like that.

Ok, I was only trying to help you not get into trouble posting because I thought you were new.  
As for your question, from this providers perspective... I wouldn't want to take or give a reference to someone that would completely fuck a client out if his/her money. A thief is a thief and thieves just suck. I don't like thieves and don't allow people like that around me nor would I do business with them.
Way to many GOOD ladies out there that will not do this shit AND they will fuck your brains out.  
Please,  please research!! Pm reviewers,  ask,  read reviews, go with well reviewed,  good ladies that will respect YOUR time as much as you respect theirs.
