Are you asking about one of the legal brothels? They cannot post nor can you ask what the rates are. The providers can only discuss rates in the privacy of their rooms. I worked at the Kit Kat Ranch which was by Reno in 2017/2018 and I can tell you the base rate was 1K an hour. You can negotiate and you can book less time than 1 hour.  A condom is required for everything. Obviously it is legal so you don't have to worry about getting arrested, but I do not think the service I provide in the brothel is any different than the service I provide today. I have never seen anyone post on TER saying the legal brothels in Nevada are a great value proposition with good looking women providing great sex.  For the most part, my take, it sounds like the only positive is that it is legal so you won't get arrested. But, that might not be all that much of a benefit to a lot of people as the real harms come from the personal and social costs, not the legal costs if the activity were disclosed.

And you know how many times I told myself, "Man I can't wait till I hit one of those brothels"?....How about...NEVER.
Heard they're over priced and under serviced.
But if its a "bucket list" thing for you then go for it...scratch that itch.

I've done both

Pros: Brothels are legal. Ladies are blood tested (HIV/Syphilis) monthly and swabbed weekly (Chlamydia/Trich/Gonorrhea). EVERYTHING is covered by a condom. There's a bar onsite if you want to mingle with the ladies vs having a lineup. The properties are very secure (no risk of a boogeyman jumping out of a closet or having an extra room key). Ladies are background checked and registered with the Sheriff (no known thieves/druggies). It's probably the cleanest/safest pussy you'll find outside a private school attached to a convent.

Cons: They are in the middle of NOWHERE (1-1.5hrs outside of Vegas, 45min outside Reno, 2.5hrs away from SLC). EVERYTHING is covered (including BJs) and anal is illegal. Rates are often double or more what high end indies charge (house takes ½, also pay room/board to the house, pay for all the medical/legal licensing, plus 15% self-employment and income tax so they keep way less than indies). Brothels are notorious for bait-n-switch with the ladies listed as being available on the websites, so your actual options are unclear before you arrive. You negotiate what activities you want, the rate and the time (if you don't say you want to touch her boobs, she may try to upsell). The cashier buzzes an intercom when your time is up so there's definitely a sense of being 'on the clock'. There's house minimums (ex: $500 min and you get about 10min of private time, dates off-premise are 4k for 3hrs and time starts the minute you exit the bldg, overnights start at 10k). The buildings are usually 'original', as in being single/double-wide mobile homes linked together with sheeting and siding.... from the 1950's (musty, poor plumbing/HVAC/electrical)

Personally, I'd suggest researching the indie of your dreams. High end ladies take care of their health anyway, conduct themselves personably and professionally both publicly and privately, are less inclined to upsell and more inclined to not be clockwatchers, have reviews and are more inclined to take their reputations seriously.

...it was a bucket list thing for me and this was in the late 80's.  I'm pretty sure things haven't changed a whole lot since then and the ranch I visited was the Chicken Ranch.  This was before HBO had the series I believe.  At that time, I was extremely naive and the internet was not yet a thing.  I rented a car and made the trip.

It was pretty cool to enjoy the whole experience and they knew the minute I walked in that I had never been in a joint like that before.  I spent some time in the "bar" side and talked with a few of the ladies and then went to the line up.  Picked a gal and had a very mediocre party and i think it ended up being about 400 or so.  She was very nice to me but she was not overly pretty nor did she have a great figure.  Didn't even come close to what I had imagined it would be like.

Glad I did it so I had the experience of part of "Vegas" history, even if it's not Vegas.  But I would never have a reason to do it again.  So, it depends on what is most important.  Getting laid by a beautiful woman or doing a brothel and maybe a beautiful woman.  

so I recommend giving it a try despite the negatives you've read here. I haven't been to any of the NV cathouses though I've happily partied in LV in years past.  But going to a cathouse is one of those things you need to do just to get it off your list. I was a devotee of NYC cathouses in the late 1980s and early 90s (before Giuliani shut them down) and I had a great time. There's something about entering a place with a roster of women, chatting with them and picking one out that I really like. Even better was the infamous Del Rey in San Jose, CR, but that's gone now too, though you can still go to the Cocal in Jaco or the Club Habanero in Panama City. I assume there's a similar experience to be had in Germany's FKK Clubs or in Bangkok, though I've not been to either place.
In my opinion it's just one more flavor on the menu, so have a taste.

I went to one a LONG time ago, as I just wanted to know what it would be like.  I agree with most of the posts here - it was NOT a good value.  The lady I saw provided a satisfactory service, but not exceptional and overpriced - especially for that time.
