Nobody knows this about me except the ladies that I see. Years ago I visited a bordello in Mexico with my brother and we occasionally reminisce about that less than stellar experience. been in astrip club, let alone this. I suspect they would tolerate an affair better sinc you didn't have to pay for the sex. THer have been two highly publicized affairs in the past couple of years which have ended in murders so that might not fly as well either.
Not to my liking but beings that i live in a small town with a BIG family means they all know....not a good thing. Three good friends: two men and a woman. One of the men is my boss, the other is a friend I've had for 20 years who lives out of state now. The woman I've also known for 20 years and we both still work for the same company. We share a lot of intimate details from our personal lives with each other. I told my Dad in an indirect way, when I told him years ago about my adventures in the Phillipines. I think my Mom knows although I have never expressly told her.Years ago before the Internet she was over visiting me. I had accidently forgotten to put away a copy of one of those "newspapers" that used to, and still advertise Providers services.
She saw it, and said "you know what this is?". To which I replied " Yes, I know what it is". She just looked at me, and changed the subject.
Most of my friends do not know, except for two. The first is a retired Hobbyist who has had to leave the hobby and seek long term inpatient treatment for non- hobby related issues.
The other is a very good lady friend of mine. I was kicking it at her place one day, and somehow the topic came up. I have reason to believe that she escorts part time but I can't prove it. We were talking about the hobby, and she mentioned that she has friends in the Business. Now I admit that doesn't prove anything, but its a gut feeling I have, and I usually go with my gut.
There's just no way a civilian woman would have any signicant knowlege of this hobby unless she truly does have a best friend who escorts. Since most of us never even tell our best friends, I bet you are right about her.
When I offer a little too info about the hobby scene, like mentioning that 99% of the Vegas agencies are rip-offs, my friends look at me in a funny way and ask how would I know. That's when I tell them I have a couple of stripper friends in the escort business--that gets me off the hook. Whew.
Yeah, M..that's why I think we are so lucky here that we are friends, and can talk about things, hang out, shop, drink together and be free to talk about whatever we do! I would feel so alone if it weren't for the friendships in this.. Sometimes, though, I wish I could tell my Civilian friends, or at least one family member! But, not my family!!!! That's only wishing..
Interesting how things vary by culture....I had posted years ago (wow...has it been years??) how my first foray into the hobby was delayed by many factors, not the least of which was having to look myself in the mirror and know that I had "paid for it".
I can't imagine ANYONE I know (African American males...I would never even CONSIDER discussing it with African American females..) who would ever confess to having "paid for it"...it is just an admission of defeat of sorts. In their mind (and to a lessor degree, in mine as well), only a "loser" has to BUY sex...a "real man" simply uses his charm to get all the sex he wants.
This is not bunk..until I had arrived in New York, I would have NEVER in a MILLION YEARS paid for sex...and I got all the sex I ever wanted. I picked up women often...not every night / week...but I's say probably once or twice a month. Between the women I would met for one night stands (that sometimes would evolve into very short term relationships lasting a month or so) and my SigOs...who needed to pay for sex?
It was when I got to New York, found myself too busy to really devote a lot of time / effort to meeting women, and when I did, finding New York women to be totally unfriendly and utter snob / gold digging / social climbers, along with as a result of my move being without a steady GF, that I gave in. But only after MONTHS of thinking about it, reading hot reviews on the site, and researching escorts. Hell, when I finally gave in I DID have a GF by that time, but curiousity got the best of me...
All that to say...hell no...I haven't told a soul, and I wouldn't....though the current wife found out on her own and we've discussed it (she lurks here all the time, and even has a TER handle...she wanted to read my reviews...lol!!)
