Female Condoms & Orgasm

We have had several threads about female condoms.  Here is my ultimate question ... has any of the female participants on this board, has experienced an orgasm when female condom is used?

I know at least one male that has.

I've only seen a picture of these and it looked a little like a pup tent I used as a cub scout.  Do people really use them?

As a guy, I swear by the female condom.  But knowing how it works on a female, I surmise it would inhibit an orgasm the same way traditional condoms do on guys -- particularly us older guys who have trouble orgasming with a cover on.  The beauty of the female condom for a guy is that you get all the sensation of being backback, with all the protection of a regular condom (when properly inserted and used).  From my view, the debate over whether to use a female condom is like debating which feels better for a guy -- bareback or covered.  So, guys?  Which is it?I rest my case.

Surprisingly, very very few providers have even heard of Female Condoms.  Those who are willing to try them out and use them properly are the ones who get my repeat business.  Which is something the ladies should consider.

It seems to me that for a provider, being able to provide your clients with all the sensation of a bareback experience with the safety of traditional condoms would be a smart business move.  I think female condoms are the wave of the future, at least in the hobby.  My .02 cents.

Everyone has different views on the female condom, that I know. I actually had a friend who did use it, and it ended up going into her, and she had to have it removed by going into ER. From hearing her experience (the emotion pain that she went through), I had made a decision to stick with my birth control pills, with the combination of "him" wearing a condom. I need to think about my needs first, safety, my piece of mind. I am NOT saying that the female condom does not have a place in society, but what I am saying is that a woman should NEVER EVER feel pressured into using something that she is not comfortable with by any man, any other woman out there, just by anyone.  Also, a thing to consider, is that not every woman's vagina is made the same. Some ladies cannot even use tampons during that time of the month, because of the way their vagina is (in my case, unfortunately)shaped. Everyone is different. I do applaud that there are more options of birth controls out there, for us, but not all were made for all. A woman has a right to decide what is best for her, and her own body. No one has the right to think for me (not a man, another woman, and so on). I do understand that a man would love to feel that "bareback" sensation, but when it comes down to my needs, safety, and comfort level, I do need to come first in the decision making, pertaining to my own body.

my 2 cents.

I am dating someone, we use condom ... as I don't want her to take pills ... before I ask her we use female condoms, I wanted to have an idea whether a woman can actually feel ok with it, and have orgasm.

From what I gather here, and previous experiences, seems like this is not something enjoyable for women.  She likes regular condoms, and says she cannot feel the difference between condom and no condom.

Would appreicate if you have more thoughts on this subject.

I don't believe your reasoning is correct.  I think there is good reason to expect that ladies condoms are as effective (if not more effective) in preventing disease.    Since they are "condoms", they should fit properly even if you have problems using tampons (they aren't stiff).

Of course, using them is your choice.  It is your body.  However, you shouldn't be upset with men being interested and wanting to try them.  If you make yourself clear, I am sure the men you see (who care about this) will respect your wishes or avoid seeing you.    All of us owe you respect.  However, that does not meen we agree.  You should remember that disagreeing doesn't mean we are "pressuring you".  ...  Harry

I tried them once with a favorite lady. For me it felt great. For her..well she said it did but I think she was fibbing. One thing I don't like is the visual aspect of seeing the thing stick out. In the words of Chauncy Gardner "I like to watch".

I have them and utilize them whenever the desire to do so cums up, I like them just fine and so do my men, why not?  Sometimes they actually work better than the traditional.  All i can say is do some experimenting , and find out for yourself.  You just might be pleasantly suprized!  Have fun!  Kayla xoxoxo

Hi kaylasd,

That's a very excellent view/post of having a fun time....!

My ATF says the Avanti condoms that I bring along feel much better for her than standard latex condoms, and her orgasms seem to confirm that.  I agree there is better heat transfer and somewhat better sensitivity for me, but nothing approaching bare. She is willing to try a female condom to increase my pleasure but I am not sure where to get them.  I have never found them displayed with the male condoms.  Any suggestions?

Any chain drugstore with brains knows that many women do NOT like to shop there.  Look in the birth control section that is oriented to women.

Available at Rite-Aid stores in the Northeast.
