if a provider gave you a unsolicited phone call about a TER alias ? Lets say at 10:30 pm at night when she knows your situation with your SO/wife not to call. Guys don't ever think that providers don't keep your phone numbers.

Luckily I've never had that happen.  But I do take the precaution of only giving out a work-related only cell number so I don't have to worry about that ringing when my wife is around as I turn it off at the end of the biz day

No reputable escort who valued her reputation would make an unsolicited call to a client, period!  I don't know how you decide which escorts to visit, but I wonder if your choices are well-reviewed, well-known escorts in their particular area.

I am well-known and I have 240+ consistently positive reviews on TER and I most definitely value my reputation. I would never make an unsolicited call to a client... the last thing I need is to have someone post that I had called him inappropriately or for that information to be sent by pm or mentioned on the chat board.

Hope that helps a little,
Kisses

I hope that you let her know that this was not an acceptable way to contact you, and not to happen again.  Sorry that this happened to you.  No, reputable providers generally do not do this sort of thing.  However, I am wondering why she felt so comfortable calling you like that.  We have very limited information from you.  So it is easy for us to to conclude that she unprofessional and one who most hobbyist might not want to see or give their personal number to.  Please don't take this the wrong way, but is it possible that you could have given her the impression somehow that it was ok to call you anytime?  Maybe something was said and misinterpreted.  I am one who generally gives people the benefit of the doubt.  But I do know their are (a few, not many) unscrupulous and unprofessional ladies out there.

A prepaid cell phone is your hobbying friend..

Never use a phone that could be accessable by anybody else.

There is always a second side to things like this and I don't think we will hear the other side nor do I think we should.

Here is what I think comes from your post.

1 - You assumed your phone number should not be kept by a provider. While some don't, others obviously do. And if you didn't understand this when entering into this hobby it is now a hard lesson to learn from. If you are going to continue in this hobby consider the advice of others and get a pre-paid phone.

2 - Is it appropriate for providers to make unsolicited calls. The answer to this is obvious - NO. But, without knowing more details such as if this was a provider you have seen, planning to see, have seen more then once, was not clear on the use of your phone, it is difficult to answer.

3 - When a provider makes an unsolicited call, what should you do. In you case, bringing it to the board and asking everyone to provide their views might help. But then again, it might raise more questions that can't be fairly answered as all the information can't be provided.

4 - And what about an alias? Was she calling to ask if you knew who someone was, or wanted to know how to post using one, or considered a comment made under an alias was your's, or possibly assumed you passed her alias onto others? Too many questions - not required to be answered.

I hope this wasn't someone I know as it would make me rethink seeing her. But then again, if I was told who it was I would probably ask what prompted the call in the first place as I feel there is something missing and she deserves to have her side told - just not here.

...is when they're trying to sell me a timeshare. Let me see...how did the last call go?....

"Mr. Luethor? This Amy Smith at Blue Valley Resorts. Have you ever considered owning a time-share..."

"Bambi? Is that you? You shouldn't be calling me now -- Mrs. Luethor is in the other room."

"No, Mr. Luethor, my name is Amy Smith. This is a courtesy call from Blue Valley to see if we can entice you to spend a free wee-end at our resort in order to..."

"A free week-end? Last time I asked you said it was $4000. Business that bad is it, Bambi? Well, I'm sorry to hear that but *this* is not the time."

"But Mr. Luethor..."

"Listen, Bambi or Amy or whatever, don't get me wrong: I think you're hot as hell, you give the world best blowjob, and you're the best f**k I've had in my life, but I really can't talk now."

I had a provider call me when I was sitting at lunch with my wife while we were away on vacation. All I could do was pretend it was the office and I couldn't hear well. Took the phone outside to "get a better signal" and finished the call. Whew!!!!!

I do give providers my cell phone number... as only I have that phone... and there is no problem.  it is a work related - but not a work phone... I have a work phone # and a home phone # and these are not given to anyone... unless absolutely necessary....

I have had a provider call me in the middle of a soccer game (my kids' games) to ask if I wished to escort her to an event - unfortunatly I could not as I was busy that weekend... but that is ok to me... I do not mind.  I have even called an escort friend at 2 in the morning.... because I was upset about something - and guess what the escort talked me through the situation... nice lady... so, if I am friends with an escort and talk with her between sessions, yea, that is ok, cause I talk to all my friends....   and some providers are my friends...  they are good people.

A lady friend of mine called to wish me a happy birthday.  I was home with family at the time.  She had never done that, but a mutual friend gave her the green light to do it.  I did the wrong number act, and she apologized profusely.

But you are correct; she would NEVER have done it without assurance that it was OK.

An escort that values her reputation would not do such a thing.
