Need to know if you have had contact with this person since they had unprotected sex.  If not, then don't unless they test verifiably negative to your satisfaction.

If you have had contact with them (can't just say sex because you may be Bill Clinton), then I would go get tested right now and I would refrain from anything that puts my SO at risk until I was SURE I was negative.  If you test positive you need to tell them so they can be treated.  You need to remember too that some STD'S are relatively asymptomatic in men so I would make sure to tell my doctor what I was concerned about.  If you feel you can't tell your family doc, then just go to some walkin clinic.  They handle that kind of stuff all the time.

If your SO is cheating, if you are on this board you are cheating too, so I would just worry about the medical part.

Your SO has just informed you that last month he/she also had unprotected sex with an Ex. What would you do?

Alternate question hobbyists: Your ATF, who you have been seeing exclusively for the past six months makes the same statement. What do you do? Do you tell your SO?

If you had been having BBFS with your ATF at any time even though you've been seen her exclusively for six month, WHAT THE HELL WERE YOU THINKING?!?!?.  Unless she was only seeing you exclusively, then you were putting yourself (and your SO) at risk big time.

He just couldn't understand how he had contracted this STD.  He went to great lengths to emphasize that "he was monogamous, his wife was monogamous, and he was SURE that his girlfriend was monogamous too!" (true story!)

Well, hon, I'm glad the guys answered you here..cuz I was dumbfounded..
I'd say..take a look at your TER handle..and start from there..
