Question for hobbyists on confirmation of providers.

When you know that you are going to be travelling to a large city and you have a list of legit providers to work with.  How long do you wait for a provider of your choice to get back in touch with you before moving on, and possibly confirming the next person on the list?  If you confirm a provider and one of your higher choices contact you, what is your decision?
I am interested in reading the replies of other hobbyists to the two questions above.

My answers are:
Question 1: Depends upon provider's reputation for responding back quickly(quick for me is within a day).  If a quick responder reputation, I wait for up to three days for a response, if a slow responder reputation(difficult to contact or does not return calls), then I am likely to move on in a day or less.  Also, depends upon how much time I have before the trip.
Question 2: I stay with the provider who I have confirmed and will move on only if she cancels or no-shows.

Depends on how far in advance I know I'll be going. If there's plenty of time, I'd probably wait a week to hear back from someone before I move on down the list. If it's a last minute trip, I'm not sure I'd even try to see someone. If I did, I'd probably only try to contact one lady.

I would never cancel with a lady because someone else finally responded. If a higher choice contacted me after I'd already made an appointment, I'd first determine whether or not I could see both ladies. If not, I'd have to tell the higher choice I'd already made other plans.

usually 2-3 days to respond before moving on to my next choice if I have the time. I would never cancel an already standing appointment to see someone else. I wouldn't expect a provider to do that to me so I won't do that to her.

Depends on who the provider is.  Some of my best experiences have been with providers who are not glued to their keyboards and have taken a few days to a week to get back to me.

Lee press-on nail glue?

Elmer's, rubber cement, pot of horse hooves, dab O glue, postal stamp adhesives? Personally I use duct tape to make my breasts look medieval.

So the ones glued to their keyboards are not sometimes better? We have to do something while we struggle with the Thursday NY Times crossword puzzle. 69 horizontally is sometimes frustrating when one can't spell well. I am an addict of word of the day. Improves my game in the black and white squares world.

is that a lady should respond within forty eight hours, but if there are exceptions in a ladies practice she should let it be known that it may take longer for her to contact you.

One of the problems that does often arise is when a lady is out of town.  Often a gent doesn't get a response and he tends to chalk her up as unresponsive, never to contact her again.

If the lady is of great interest, give her the benefit of the doubt.  She may have posted a note on the boards that she would be out of contact for a time and the interested gent may not have seen it.  I have seen those kinds of mix ups often.
