Was wondering why so many providers
become travelers?  what do you like
about being on the road as a provider?

and providers that stay in one place -
have you tried traveling? would you want
to be a traveler or not?

I am a hobbyist who sees both locals
and travelers in my home base, and
also sometimes goes on business trips and
indulges in the hobby in new places.
Curious about the provider viewpoint.

When you travel, you make more money. I love to travel, but unlike others, I don't like to stack clients. I try to provide a true GFE, which means for *me* I don't generally see more than one client that day. I keep a pretty low profile locally, so you won't be seeing me do specials, etc., on LA boards. My other career lets me travel, so I usually combine the two, so if I have cancellations, I don't stress as much.

I enjoy traveling as long as I'm seeing just one person and it's for one or two nights. That way, you feel more romantically linked to the person, instead of brining in people to a hotel room to have dates. I know it's more money but it's a little cold to me.

Do your travels ever lead you to Florida? Your various posts here reveal someone I'd really like to meet, but I'm not keen on returning to CA any time soon.

and see new things. Being provider, makes it much easier, as
I can work and play!  ;)

Most of my clients are on the East Coast, so that is where my travels take me. It is so nice to be able to see old friends  (they Love when I travel to them!) and meet new ones. You can never have too many friends or visit too many cities.

My other job will be taking me all over this year, and Florida is very special to me. I drove from St. Pete to Islamorada on a whim once. I ate crab and drank beer 24/7 since it was too cloudy to go snorkling. I would like to buy a house there and settle down, that is the goal. I may get an apartment there later this year. Keep in touch. My website is attached, and my email is
[email protected]
My screening req. are on my website, however if you PM me from your TER handle you get top priority, and the paranoia level of l.e. goes down somewhat. Thank you for your interest. Happy hobbying!

The reason I gave up a full time day job was so I could travel more.  I love the freedom I get from being a provider, I can earn a good living and travel lots (both for business and just for pure fun).

I make less when I travel because I have higher overheads than at home (flights, hotels etc) but I do it for the fun of getting out of London and visiting other countries.  I consider myself so lucky to be able to do this - I've been to 11 different countries in the past year, no way I'd be doing that with any other job! :)

I agree with the other providers, I love to travel and this gives me an opportunity to travel to alot of places that I would not normally go and make some money in the process, not to mention meeting gents that are just great people!

because it is the freedom of being away.

The idea I can sleep in a bit, have breakfast in bed and not have to jump out of bed, get the kids ready, drop them off at school then work for 8 hours, go home get changed and start working in the evening.

It is also the fact that you see different clients and hooking with your provider friends for dinner/drinks.

Its like a fantasy when traveling for me.
