This is an english test. Tell me your scores!!!!! My scores were as follows, 80% Beginner, 93% Intermediate, 93% Advanced and 61% Expert. The score put me in the advanced class!!! Good Luck!!!!
If you were to believe this test had any validity, the average score here is comparable to several Ivy League multi-degreed individuals here at my work that I talked into taking the same test.
I don't think there's any question many of the providers and hobbyists on this board are very intelligent individuals.

This is an exceptional score. Remember, these are commonly confused English words, which means most people don't use them properly. You got an extremely respectable score. I don't understand the scores either, but mine were 100% beginner, 93% intermediate, 93% advanced and 72% expert. However, I am not ready to accept these scores until I have an opportunity to read the full answers because I did not think I got any wrong (although there were some where the difference that I saw was between English and American usage)
Now I have had a chance to see the answers, and I only got a few wrong on the whole test. I don't agree that most of my wrong answers were actually wrong because there is a difference between dictionary definitions and usage, a subtlety that the grader of the test seemed to be unable to understand. I agree that I got 2 or 3 wrong on the test.
I have always been a hard-ass about my test scores. Reminds me of junior high school
... now let's take a MATH test and I'll kick some ass. I always sucked at English and Literature classes anyways, so I'm shocked I did well, guess the last group I didn't chose enough of c (Either's) from the looks of the answer sheet ... oh well.
her Q#30 was questionable? Afterall, "however" is a conjunction rendering her semicolon redundant. I hate it when any kind of colon in redundant, even a lady's semi.

I don't know how you did it, but you boggle my mind! You got at least 75% of the intermediate, advanced, and expert questions correct, but you got 75% or less in the beginner section. How is this possible? Were you just guessing?????? Either way...
