I am an independent escort with a very good reputation but I have problem. I haven't had a single appointment in the last 6 months so I'm thinking about throwing in the towel or relocating to another city. I have treated my clients very well and my rates are in the $$$$ range. When I have attempted to run specials in the $$1/2 range, the phone still does not ring. I am not bad looking really but cannot figure out what I need to do to get the phone ringing.
Does anyone have any ideas why business would completely stop?
We need more information. Where are you? How old are you and what do you look like. Where can we see your picture, how do you advertise, what services do you (and do you not) offer. What are your review like? Are you consistant, do you keep appointments, are you on time, how hard is it to reach you, do you smell like an ashtry, what are your screening procedures, do you have an attitude, are you a GFE, etc.
is ask those gents you saw, what you could do better, ask them if they would see you again and explain you are trying to boost your call back rate and any feedback (BRACE YOURSELF and more importantly-LISTEN!) and help they could offer?
Feedback is the best and reading your owns REVS...although there must be something amiss.

Agree with all above. You may have a very good reputation but then why no repeat business particularly if you are running specials? You say you are not bad looking but what do your reviews say?
Unless your city is saturated with providers, I would be careful about moving just to keep being a provider. The market seems to be pretty tight right now. When guys have less to spend we obviously become more selective and for me, I would expect someone in your price range to have fairly steady reviews. No reviews in 6 months is obviously going to catch my attention so unless you were getting consistent 8's or better, I would pass.
Sounds like the market is trying to tell you something. Do you have a friend you can ask? It sounds like you haven't seen any of your old clients in more than 6 months so I don't know about calling them to ask. Might be uncomfortable for both parties.

There are sooo many factors that can be at work here. Without knowing all the details of your area and business I can only toss out a few possible reasons.
1. The economy in your area may be in a slump
2. You may not be advertising enough
3. Tons of new girls may have come around lately
4. There may be girls that have "quietly" dropped their rates to nearly nothing
5. You may have been in your area a long time and saturated your market. (Try touring)
6. The guys that are "hard core" hobbyist may being seeing the new ladies or touring ladies.
This is a huge issue all over the nation. Guys want "flavor of the week" and forget about the local ladies. I have heard of a few places that make sure their local ladies are taken care of but for the most part that is rare.

When are new to an area you are flavor of the week. This may take years to wear off.
Once you have been around a while you once of two things usually happen. Either you start touring or you see only traveling guys. If you are in a city with lots of traveling guys, you should be fine. If you are in an out of the way place that doesn't get many travleing men you may need to travel.
Perhaps, it's time to tour. It sounds like you are probably a good escort and had a great run for a long time if you were able to charge 400 for an hour.
In the past, I have lost clients for no real reason on my part. A lot of clients just want to see you once and some want to see you a few times and move on. You should atleast have a few repeats though.
Lowering rates is rarely a good idea as there is usually money for the right girl.
You might try advertising different places to get fresh ads up, but the last thing I'd want is for someone to roll their ads when they look at my ad. . .another ad by this lady.
I just wonder how M Ashley get's her ads all over the place. She must get a great deal or pay out a lot of $$$$$! But, it appears to payoff for her.

Yes ... the possibilities are endless.
But let's not go into the esoteric when we can look at the basics.
Your appointments are in the $$$$ range? 1,000 to 9,999? or $400? Even $400 is kind of pricey these days for 'ordinary services'
Check out the reviews for girls in your area that are in the $$$ range - see how recent the reviews are. If there are gentlemen posting reviews for girls in your area, it could be that as a sign of the buyer's market, you've priced yourself out of the market.

Like the products on the info-mercials, you can create a need by throwing in something "low cost" that the buyer still values, and keep piling these on.
Somthing I would LOVE TO EXPERIENCE, (If I may suggest it to you) would be to add 30 min. or more of "bonus Pre-Game Warm-up" Time. You could offer a non-contact pampering introduction to the EVENT HOUR.
Perhaps the client could have a bubble bath with candles and music while being fed strawberries from a scantily clad you. Or give them a foot massage ( A REALLY GOOD ONE) or a manicure from a scantily clad you. A really good strip show? 20 minutes of slow dancing? How about a lengthy "get to know you" conversation (scantily clad, of course).
Or something more clever than I have come up with, that allows you to KEEP YOUR RATE THE SAME, would only cost you a little extra of your time in the interest of "customer service", and would make your customers VERY HAPPY. It would be the sort of thing that would classify you as a GFE. And guys love a GFE. Just be clear in letting the clients know that this is your introduction/ appetizer "bonus time" and that the main event hour comes after, and your clients will wait for the meal to be served later.

Looks like you are realizing the economy is very weak. Lots of the high income jobs are being exported overseas. Some professionals have been out of work for 2 years. These high income folks are usually in their 40's and 50's and they were the highy rollers in the industry.

If you haven't had a job in 6 months there is no hope. There is obviously something seriously wrong with you and you are not able to percieve yourself correctly. Sorry, but get real and find yourself another occupation. If you increased it to 1 job a month or a week, that would still be horrible. Why bother?
