I'm new to escorting.  I have a day job and seem to be missing a lot of phone calls during the day.  I understand that those are probably my married hobbyists interested in afternoon dates.  I'm available during lunch and afterwork (in addition to weekends, but no problems there), but no one leaves any messages so I can return the call.  Is there etiquette against calling back the number on my caller ID even though that person didn't choose to leave a message?  I'm not totally comfortable doing that though without getting some feedback as it seems pushy and invasive.  And is there something else I can say on my VM greeting that might prompt my guys to leave a number where I can reach them?  Unfortunately, I don't have a private office so I'm not always able to pick up immediately.  Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

If the person is not leaving a message then its probably not a good idea to call them back just because you received their number through caller ID.  I once asked a provider what kind of photo etiquette she expected when someone received her voicemail, and she said to leave a message and specifically state whether you wanted her to call back or not.  Maybe you could leave some message on your voicemail prompting callers to do that???

I agree.  Don't call back unless they leave a message asking you to.  Some of us really hate unsolicited calls from the ladies.  Perhaps you could encourage them to call back in your VM message, and/or tell them the best time to call if they want to speak to you.  Good luck!
