I think a lot of ladies give discounts for high reviews. Some may even resort to hint blackmail. It isn't really fair to the rest of us who don't try to sway our clients to write great reviews. I don't think I deserve some of the high marks in my reviews, but then again beauty is in the eye of the beholder and friendliness goes a long way.
I could have SWORN the referenced review was a 10 - 10 when I last perused the lady's review history.
I took special interest in this providers exceptional score history about a year back when I noticed a pattern forming of several consequtive, exceptionally favorable reviews and scores followed by a totally out of character review with low scoring. But more recently it is just a tepidly written ‘clinker’ with mediocre scores that seem to be strategically thrown in.
It must be difficult for an independent provider serendipitously finding themselves in a regional top 10 competition with $$agency$$ managed competitors.
Some guys like to crunch numbers and come up with aggregate averages that determine perceived value, market rate, etc. I just like spotlighting vanity, venal corruption and incessant greed in the Human struggle.

now I feel dumb, I thought you guys just saw whose ever pictures you liked the most! lol
I first happened to notice it but in a different way. There was a provider who had 9s and 10s across the board and then I would notice an 8 that would come in, and then the next day it would have magically morphed into a 10, but the 8 had been more representative to what the reviewer originally wrote, that the provider was much older than advertised amongst other things, and then the original words would have also magically disappeared. It was a true indicator, at least in my book, that someone was either badgering the hell out of the original reviewer to get those numbers changed, or someone had a lot of influence with the board Gods at that time. I did notice that now that the board "seems" to be handled differently that several of these ladies that I watched this with, no longer have reviews going up like they once did.
But I have seen those providers who were getting strong reviews, and then that "tepid" review would come in, many times written by the same mongers that were giving 10's to the original ladies I spoke of, and it came across to me again, as though some of those ladies were having their regulars eliminate the competition. I think the tepid reviews are much more dangerous as with the strong "only if your drunk" reviews tended to stand out to much as a way to hurt someone, where as the tepid ones come across as more "honest" even if they are not.

A 5 is average. A 7 means you are above average. A 7 is not a bad score, but women think it is.
Most women in the world automatically rate themselves an 8. Sorry, but that's just not mathematically possible.
If you are an informed reader and checking out reviews, you will read the numbers, and go to the scores that stick out. If a woman is mostly 9s and 10s and there is a random 7, then I read the 7 score. If the verbiage says he enjoyed her, then that's worth more than seeing a bunch of 9s and 10s.
I rated a provider 8/8 recently and got a PM saying, "You suck." Really? Did you bother reading my review?
I do too for the most part. But when you're getting into a finite demographic where providers are commonly charging a $1000 per hour it is no longer a case purely of personal vanity or ego. Just ask someone like Nancy Kerrigan about peer "competitiveness"
There is more than one way to 'shatter a knee-cap'.
if she is on one of those lists, your 8/8 could have moved her down the list or even knocked her off one.

The women who are concerned with those lists come across to me as being short-sighted. I guess some hobbyists really care about seeing a "Top" provider, but I don't.
I kinda look at it like the girls in college who just didn't understand that there was no longer an "in crowd." It didn't compute so some of them joined a sorority, because that was the closest thing to a status symbol that made them feel more elite.
Of course, this is all conjecture, because I'm not a provider. But providers who think that hobbyists really care about these lists are also just guessing, too.
I personally refer to being on that list as "rather dubious accomplishment" ![]()

That's just me as a hobbyist. The session is about me and the provider agreeing to a set of terms. Nothing more, nothing less.
If the provider starts putting pressure that I need to give her a good review, then I would just as soon hand her half the cash, walk out, and say thanks, but this isn't gonna work.
I don't usually write reviews, and my ATF is unreviewed and UTR. But when I feel like there is some pressure to write a review with a certain pressure for numbers, then I'm the wrong guy. Just as not every girl is gonna wanna see me, I'm not gonna want to see a girl who expects a certain score.
The provider who I reviewed and gave an 8/8 and bitched about it...there's just no reason for us to see each other anymore, because she will always see me as the guy who fucked up her score. I don't need that, especially when there are so many other choices.
So it's not a stretch to see that some of the ladies are too.
Personally, for me, there are two types of ladies I will never see...not that it matters to you or anyone else. ![]()
1. Ones who are obsessed with reviews and scores.
2. Ones who are very, very active on the boards.
Just my preference. There are plenty of clients. No provider is ever gonna care if I'm not on their list of clients they wanna see. And that's the truth, Ruth.
