I have been in the business for a while now. I have a few reviews but not on TER(Only one on TER). And the reviews I have on other sites most men wont go by them because they are not from TER. How can I get my clients to review me on TER without saying it rudely.
nothing rude about that at all
I do ask..some say they dont use TER others say ok and I guess they never get around to do it or just plan forget. I was thinging of throwing a special up saying maybe if you give me a review you recieve whatever off an appointment but seems so wrong..I think reviews should be earned and by doing it that way I wont be earning it, really I'll be paying for it. The one review I have on here is great and I would like the rest of them to be the same.
you should never offer a discount in return for a review. That in essence would be like paying them to write a review.
BAD IDEA!!
There are some here who use just that tactic to get 'extra time'.. "I will write you a glorious review - IF "
They will ask for steep discounts, more time, a freebee visit, etc.. etc..
I will write me a review if you pay for the taxi- WTF (last week - not that stupid - Geez)
And what becomes of it.. NOTHING.. No review, lost time and income..
I get my share of these wack jobs when I was bucking for reviews here.. Now that I don't care about those reviews they have nothing to use.. Why ask for something I will not get anyway??
I have been cheated one to many times to continue to be fooled.. 14 TER members this month - zero reviews.. Half of them are repeats from Nov-Dec so I am doing something right..
for that bitter attitude to come back.
You really don't seem to enjoy your time here, are you sure this place is for you.
I don't really mean this as a flame, more as an observation.
everything nichole said is right. Offering discount to write a review is a bad idea, and unenforceable anyway unless the client wants another session.
Unfortunately, some men will try to hold writing reviews over a lady's head. I've heard everything from hobbyists claiming they're a rather big deal around TER and if I were to give them a free session, they'd write a glowing review, etc... Bah. No thanks. I don't need reviews bad enough to get taken advantage of...
I think what she was expressing was her distaste for the men who abuse the system, not the guys who play by the rules.
I am really picky about who I see, so it's been pretty much sweet men who are a complete joy but I think I've been lucky. I'm rather low volume (by choice,) so I don't think I deal with the pressures some of the ladies deal with, but I think if you'd put yourself in her shoes, you might see where it could become problematic.

It sounds like a great idea, a number of great reviews in few days, by giving it for free, not knowing according to TER policies, such reviews are considered "fake" and will get them in trouble!!! ( It's just a matter of time)
Not mentioning, such reviewers are not to be trusted with their Scores. You would not give her anything less than a 9 when it is free!
I wouldnt do it for free. I want my services rated on how was. No matter of how bad or how good they was. But you're right if I was a dummy to do it like that he should give me a 9.
Be patient. I have had gents tell me they were going to review me and still have not. They have busy lives and I trust that they will get it done, just when they can not when I want it, lol. I always ask if I may whitelist them (there is one who prefers to not be) and it is a nice gesture to ask, and possibly a reminder for them. I do not mention the review if they said they would. It is too beg-ish to me. If they never said they would then I may tell them that they may, but it is not expected, just appreciated if they choose to. (Along with my offer to whitelist if they allow)
Hope that helps?

shouldn't it go both ways?
Why don't the guys don't get in trouble for the ways they try to take advantage?
A member threatened me and wrote a false review because I refused to give him a hefty discount and because he has sooo many reviews it was allowed to stand.
I wouldn't let my powerful friends go after him.
I could have let them hurt him for being such a jerk but I didn't want it to escalate.
If anyone wants to know who it was I will pm you .
When they get into a position or feel they have a position of power over others will abuse that power. It happens all the time in all aspects of life. It sucks, and there are as many ways to deal with it as there are individual people in the world.
The best you can do is just write an honest note to whoever has given this person the power (or supposed power) and leave it at that.
Carry on and be the best person you can be and others will see that. They will then provide you with more business, better reviews and the one bad one will get lost in the shuffle.

providers have been known to threaten hobbyists with being blacklisted in retaliation for bad reviews, I have on many occasions seen providers, supported by legions of whiteknights blasting hobbyists on the boards for the same reason.
I am not condoning either type of behavior, just pointing out that it does go both ways.
Your powerful friends??? I don't know about anyone else, but this is not the kind of talk I like to hear, under any circumstances. That kind of talk would definitely put you on my "must miss list"
He did not threaten me, but offered. This is something he is already well known for, and I like the guy, but I politely declined the offer. I just told him that his reviews hold no clout and I do not need one that badly, lol I like a challenge. The challenge is being what my guys who see me want me to be, and I think it is a blast.
As for the bad review/threat... OH HELL NO! I would have HIM delisted.
Hugs,
C
Just ask them if they know about TER, and ask them if they would be kind enough to help your business out by putting a review of you on TER.

Before the gentleman leaves, you might make an offer to "Whitelist" him. At least then you'll know if he is a member, and he may offer to write a review, or ask you if a review is okay. I always ask a lady before I write a review.
If you're looking for reviews from TER guys, post ads on TER message boards. Make comments so your name gets brought up in front of people -- after all, I just looked at your website after seeing this post, and that's the first step in getting a client to write a review! If you see an announcement about a get-together in a city that you travel to, make plans to attend and adjust your schedule accordingly.
Nobody's going to take it as rudeness if you say, "It helps my business out when happy clients write reviews. Could I ask you to write one up for me?" Don't treat it as any sort of quid-pro-quo; I'd certainly recommend against offering freebies for a good review, and even offering a rate discount for any review (positive or not) is sometimes viewed as sketchy. It's not unheard of for providers to see who's been reviewing similar ladies and dropping them a note to see if they'd like to visit you, although that may require more researching than you have time to deal with.
