Does anyone know if New Reviews from the U.S./Boston will be accepted by TER? I have a Client that wants to Review me and submit it using his "VPN-Connection." TER states that they will be Refunding membership fees but does that mean that Reviews will be "Rejected" by Stateside "American Hobbyists?" Hmmm...

So It looks like Using a "VPN" is a Loophole to still be able to Post Reviews and Meet as a "Community" like we have Always done. Its a sad day in the U.S.A. when "Censorship" is being Instituted on its Citizens! :(

but I travel all over the world and can tell you this sort of thing is taken for granted by citizens of the USA. In much of the world it's accepted that work-arounds using VPN services is how things are done. It's sad that America has become the land of the ... Oh. Wait a minute!

I just tried searching reviews in the US and regardless of the location I entered, I got a message saying it was a bad location.  So maybe you can post reviews, but you can't see them?  I used VPN from a different country.

I had a gentlemen give me info on a lady he was using as a reference. I was able to search by her name and found info I needed. I tried to see the new review list myself and could not get it to take Orlando. I use TER to help in screening so hope it doesn't close that function off.

You're right. No more browsing or searching for U.S. reviews.

You can click on the city in your profile to see others in the same city. Pointless since new US reviews cannot be submitted.

from DC a few days ago by VPN, which was two or three days AFTER US access was blocked.  Everything went through as it normally would.  Moderation first, then it went active.  It actually was approved faster than usual, probably because there are fewer reviews lately.  The flow should increase as more hobbyists discover how to use VPN's.

Ladies can control where they say they are based at in their profile, correct? Who says I can't write a review about seeing that lady in London, Paris, or on the moon. Reviews are just sexy little pieces of fiction anyway.

If they are afraid of having US reviews, then allow reviewers to submit reviews without location and remove location in the lady profile. It will make things a little tougher for us but we can still manage.

At least it wasn't an "I should have stayed home" review.

And it kept getting kicked back for "location not recognized."  I have PM'd Support asking for guidance.  I agree with your point.  If location is left off and the review is just posted under her name, it will take longer to narrow it down in some cases, but it should obviate any fears that TER has about identifying specific locations for new girls.  This could be counterbalanced if the girls used unique names that are either rare or nonsensical.  For instance, a name like Candy might produce hundreds of hits, while a name like Unicorn might only provide a couple of choices, at most.  For girls that already have reviews, they can set the review form to default to the prior location name, and anyone could go back to the first review to see the home city AND that the profile was created way before FOSTA/SESTA.

The problem with blocking it by location is that foreign travelers who travel to the US to see our providers will not be able to review them when they get back home if US cities are blocked.  That's going to piss off more than a few members in other countries that come here to hobby.  I see girls in other countries when I travel abroad, and I know several European men who see providers in the US when traveling here on business.  Its going to be a rude awakening if they can't review them.

How about having another an alternative for Reviews called Erotic Stories?
.
I just need Name, Age, Phone, Email, Appearance and Rating sections, and a little piece of Fiction.
.
Not much need for Services info, Cost, link to ad site, or requirement to be explicit in reviews. I tried to write G-rated screenplay to describe attitude, mood, and atmosphere like "An Affair To Remember" but TER wanted X-rated.
.
I was also accused of writing fantasy by another guy so I may do well here.

Well, for what it's worth, searching by US city appears to be gone, but I just submitted a review with a US city and it went through the submit phase.  We'll see if it actually goes through.  My goal is to keep seeing people and maybe be able to claim the Last TER Review ever ...

As you stated, it appears that you can no longer search for reviews by city or state in the USA.  However, if you enter the name, phone number, or email address of the lady you are researching, her reviews will come through same as it ever was.
