A thread below prompted me to submit this information for discussion.

Let me first preface that the following information is about writing reviews. For you short-sighted takers and not givers in the hobby crowd who do not write reviews but take advantage of all of us that do, STFU. There is no need to respond to this thread as you have ZERO credibility. For the aliases that just can’t resist responding, you have just as much credibility. With that said let’s move on.

1:  You just went to a session and have returned home and WANT to write a review. STOP right there! Give yourself at least a couple days to mull it over before just jumping on the keyboard to spit out a review. Things become less blurry when you have 100% of your wits about you. Things may not always be what they seemed at 2-hours after the session as when you have had some time to contemplate what you’re true experience was.

2:  Now you are ready to write this all important review. STOP right there! Think about it, is this review “all important” because it is still “all about” you? Most hobbyist as not the least bit interested in your review the length of Tolstoy’s manuscript because it’s truly all about you. Put up the valuable facts, not every single step along the way with your story good or bad, involving the traffic, the weather and on and on. Give us a break please. It does not matter either that you wish to play Sigmund Freud and psychoanalyze the chick for the readers. Use the KISS (Keep It Simple Stupid) approach to the review.

How to KISS:

1:  Some information in your contacts with the provider may have some importance. However, think about it first. Is it really important? Things that might be of value and not going into a long winded writing might be; “She was easy to set up appointment with”, “It took her 4-days to get back with me, but I was not concerned”,  “The phone she had advertised with was out of order so email only”. Did you find her on Back Page or Craig’s List? Then say so! So, think about the reader (the next guy), or put yourself in their shoes and step back from it being all about you again.

2:  The day of appointment arrives you are directed to a certain area for further instructions. Perhaps this is the three-call system. Say so! I will skip the outcall (where she comes to you) for now. Where in the hell are you? Do you think it important to the readers? Hell yes, it might be very important for some that you are being sent to a shady part of town. Locals know where they are and may prefer not to go in those areas. If it’s her incall where she lives tell the readers. If it is a Motel 6, or Budget Suites the same applies. Some hobbyists do not think with their little head in the planning stages and do not want to visit low class motels or apartment buildings in bad areas of town.

3:  You get the call with the room number; it’s time to make mental notes upon your arrival. Is the place a pig sty? Say so! If it’s a well kept, clean and nicely appointed place, which can provide that warm and fuzzy feeling then tell us that also. Now, first impressions are everything in any business. What in the hell does she look like. If you already have a boner knocking on her door, it is not likely that you can be objective. However, for your readers they want to know the following; is she the girl in the photos? If she is are the photos an accurate representation of her on that day? If you believe the photos are say 10 years old, for crying out loud, say so. If they were photo-shopped in an effort to disguise a lot of things such are tattoos, one arm is deformed, to take off 35 existing pounds, yes stretch marks or simply a noticeable difference between photos and her that day are all important. If you noticed don’t you think the readers would want to know?

4:  That important “Looks” score. You have arrived at the door, or she is knocking on your door, it’s the time of taking a strong look at the situation. Stepping back and writing the review several days later can help in this department. Yet, for some guys months can’t help them. They are still going to put down a 10. WTF, stop and think about this. A 10 is a Once in a lifetime. Is it your lifetime or anybody’s lifetime. Remember, most hobbyists (most again), could not get an 8, 9 or 10 in real life so is it likely that a 7 is a 10 in your outlook on providers. Most serious hobbyist already knows that looks scores are highly over inflated and will take that into account. Does that mean you should continue to do so just to keep up with all her other over inflated scores? Dude; be realistic about the scores you dole out for looks. A caveat is important here and that is one man’s 7 CAN be another’s 10 and vice versa.

Continued on next post.

5:  Performance is another hugely unrealistic scoring system. Let’s face facts, any popular provider worth her salt will do things that your girlfriend, wife or SO will not. What’s that rocking song? “Don’t ‘Cha wish your GF was just like me!?” “Don’t ‘Cha?”

Well you undoubtedly do wish that. Otherwise why in the world would most of us spend 10’s of thousands on the fairytale come true by way of the ATM machine? TER has a pretty set in stone method for scoring performance. Looks they seem to leave alone. Why is it so hard to follow the instructions? WTF, a CBJ even if it were a “Don’t ‘Cha” does not rate a 9 or 10, though clearly a lot of them slip though the system. So she was GFE?

Well, talk about the most undefined acronym in the hobby world, GFE is it. It has been hashed and re-hashed and I won’t go into it again. Let’s just say if you felt she was your GF for an hour or more good enough. Most guys know how terribly subjective this is. So, she did perform what?

This is where it really gets dicey. Not sure why, but I suspect a certain percentage of guys are going back to the “all about me” syndrome and are writing a review so they can go back and relive it over and over, thus the Tolstoy mentality as well. Why not stick with the facts of performance and this can be done without writing like a pig. Here are all about me samples; “I jammed my hard cock into her dripping pussy and she loved it”. Oh really? In your mind she loved it and why the insulting depiction of action? Or; “I DATY for a long period until she has two earth shattering O’s and wanted more”. You are truly the stud aren’t you? Any reference to how many times a provider gets off on the ministrations of a 60 year old fat gray monger should be treated with a grain of salt. Sure, no point in leaving out, that some providers do cum. However, that is the exception and not the rule. Remember they are in a performance business. The better they perform, the better scores get doled out and repeat business they also attract. Get real! It is NOT all about you.

You can boil it down to what services did she provide and what manner were they provided. Was she enthusiastic? Did she do a lot, but seemed not really into it. Some guys would take a 7 in looks any day and do if her performance was rock-n-roll.

In Summary:

There’s an old saying “Whoever has the pussy rules the world.”, or something along that order. That does not mean the pussy rules the scores you provide in a review. If it does, you surly are the pussy.

Believe it or not, you can write a general review and make the TER God’s understand what took place and allow the scores you intended. Go back to the instructions, don’t believe me. Use the acronyms everyone is familiar with. A BBBJTCCIMNQNS should be easy enough to figure out. Most of the others are much easier, but you get the picture. Some ladies you know do not want all those gory details like you want just so you can relive the episode. From a personal standpoint only I am totally against the numbers in reviews. I am for being a short story teller leaving the numbers out. Paint us a picture if you will.

Write a review to help your fellow hobbyist out. That is the true reason for reviews. If you read others reviews and based your decision on seeing a lady it has most often worked for you. Do the same in return. Read it over a couple time and ask yourself, would I want to see this is I were thinking about seeing this lady. Have I helped my fellow hobbyist with this review? Do all this before clicking on the submit button. Again, for those users who do not write reviews there is nothing can be said that has not been discussed in many threads before. Remember they have streets named after you in every city…One Way.

Oh it may seem like I took lessons from Tolstoy myself but this is a complex topic to say the least. So don’t shoot the messenger.

reviews are in my opinion at their best and most useful when they reflect hobbiest feelings and impressions without filtering.

The advice to back off a few days in my opinion produces reviews that all read alike and are too disconnected from the experience

The most useful reviews to me are those which are first and foremost about the lady and not the client and second but of equal importance reflect the effect the lady had on the gent.

Taking time to rationalize this causes a loss of important information in my opinion.

Beyond that I also would like to know details about how the contact was handled right up to the point the door opens, first impressions, the effort put into hospitality and etc.

I just don't get why these guys feel the need to tell me the size of their cocks, and how many times they MADE the provider cum. A little news flash for them...We can't MAKE them cum. The best we can hope for is to help out a little.

I do agree with Smarty on waiting a few days. That seems to work better for me.

The only reason I've included a reference to cock size in my reviews is to give a relative measure so that someone else reading the review might have some idea as to how she will perform with their unit.  I'm thinking mainly in reference to oral performance and how deep she can go, whether there's an issue with the gag reflex, etc.

I think the rest comes down to style and I'd rather have a little too much information than not enough -- why else are we spending money to read reviews in the first place? What we do with the info is up to each individual; it's like any other form of entertainment -- if you don't like what you're reading, change the channel until you find a station you're more in tune with.  Should be enough variety here for almost anyone's tastes --

are to this industry similar to restaurant reviews.  If you write a review of a steakhouse right afte the meal, it will always be glowing unless you went to a dive.  You need to wait a few days to put everything in perspective.

Same goes for providers.  I almost always have a certain glow for a few days afterwards.  Almost all reviews would be 9's or 10's then.  It is only after the dust settles that you can put it all in perspective.  The fact that the asst. gave me the wrong room number (happened once) isn't such a big deal 4 or 5 days afterwards.  But that day, it was frustrating trying to find a discrete place to call her back when there was no answer at the room # she gave me.

I find it a lot easier to write them if I do it right when I get home. I just submitted one this morning and I was having a hard time remembering some details even though the appointment was only a couple of days ago.

I could also probably be accused of being long winded and grading too high. Oh well.

... they reflect a bias. That is, you want reviews written in the way that YOU find most valuable.

A lot of what you'd like, I suspect, is stuff most hobbyists would like. But, at the same time, as shocking as this may seem, there are hobbyists out there who have other priorities in choosing providers.

Every review, to a certain extent, reflects the values of the reviewer in terms of the importance and stress he places on certain things. As every hobbyist is different; I think this diversity is good as it allows hobbyists with different perspectives to gain from the review system.

A reviewer who has had past difficulties with navigating the whole "knock three times" system in the past; or has a beef with monosyllabic communications may stress these factors (or their opposite) more than another in a review.

A reviewer who has certain distinct preferences in women will likely stress the presence/absence of these preferences. This might not be useful for you particularly; but it will be helpful for other hobbyists in the hobby universe who share those preferences.

Beyond this, though -- I think your advice is overall sound; albeit a bit long-winded even by my standards. (*grin*)

There are different writing styles among us. If everyone wrote the same review it would rather boring.
The one chuckle that I do get are from the guys who write the reviews on themselves. As an example, "she took all 12 inches of my length" Or "I brought her to her 3rd O in 45 minutes while DATY" (Sure mack, sure).

I also believe that almost all reviews have some value. Reading a poorly written review is better than having none at all.

I really can not dispute most of Smarty's points.  Another response above has already suggested that he has put forth the criterion as he sees it.  We all see the process of selection through our own eyes, so that's a valid point.  Actually reading a series of reviews of a prospective provider gives us the advantage of several ses of eyes.
Numeric scores are a waste of time and since currently one must be VIP to see them, one might as well read the reviews.  I have been surprised several times with scores that appeared low but then the written text was very positive.
I agree strongly that one does not need a complete blow by blow or stroke by stroke journal.  Since each interaction between 2 unique individuals is not surprisingly unique, I expect my experience to be somewhat different.  "YMMV" is always true.  Is is possible to write a discreet review while still conveying the pertinent information.
I agree strongly that one should not post a review while still flushed with afterglow...  but some things may be lost if too long a time passes.  I write a draft the next day in a secure forum.  I edit it one or more times before submitting it at least a week later.  I think this is good advise.
Probably the most important item...  Would you really repeat?  If not why?

wtf are you thinking ?

all they need to say is that it was a good or bad area

hotel or apartment or house.

we most certainly do NOT identify what hotel a lady is in.

How many Motel 6's are in your town or Budget Suites for that matter. And each one of them have what 500 rooms or something. If you only have one of each in your little town then the review should not be so specific. One only needs to use their head a little. No need what so ever to say "at the Motel 6 at Vagina Way and Fucknut Blvd." I don't think I said to be that specific.

Perhaps one does not have to be that explicit. But "a seedy hotel on the railroad track side of town" may do just as fine.

there's only 1 each of those hotels in chandler.

you can't say "bad hotel bad part of town" and get your point across ?

the girl normally advertises her general area... naming the hotel is NOT COOL.

it's noones business where a lady does her business
if it is a hotel,upscale..low rent etc should be enough to get the point across, same with  the incall nice area  seedy area etc.
There are too many back biting people in this hobby,LE etc who will jump on that information to cause a provider harm.
So please leave the specifics out of the review.

I live in a VERY SMALL town and do not even want the city name of my incall noted in a review.

I don't even name the "actual" city of my residence or my incall on my website or in any of my ads.

You can state whether it is a good area, a residence, or a hotel without stating any specifics.

Naming specifics of an incall location is not acceptable!

This seems to be an example of "size matters".  In your case, the name of the town appears significant.  Where I am (Las Vegas), the name of the property is probably not too revealing.  We usually break things down to strip, downtown, off strip or a part of the city (ie NW, SE, west side, east side), but even if you said Caesars Palace, it only narrows it down to one of a few thousand rooms.

Logic should enter into the decision, and when in doubt, be vague.

The recommendations are sound, yet I posted elsewhere how a review I wrote on a provider was taken down by TER after being posted for no apparent reason.  No explanation given even after I asked.  The provider clearly was using photos that were either very old or clearly not her on her own web page and other hobbyists deserve to know this, but for some unclear reason this warning is gone.  I've had this happen with one other review over the years and wonder what other bad reviews or rip offs are not being posted on TER.  It would help if they at least said "posted reviews removed because of provider threats etc." so people would get an idea of what's going on, or if there was a problem with the review to let the reviewer know for future reference.

About a year ago when I started reading reviews, I found two of them where the reviewer actually said where they met. Smaller mid-west town, and they met at the Motel 6. Nice. Lets fix it so that the local LE folks can stake it out. I would have thought admin would have edited that out.

I give reviews after the second date unless I know for sure there won't be a second, as in when I'm seeing someone out of town while on business, then I'll do after one date. Or, they are so bad they didn't rate a review.

I have done 13 reviews and there are seven more I didn't do a review on. There is one pending as I write this.

I have given three or four of them a "10", maybe I'm just lucky to meet some fabulous women, but if they deserve it, they get it. Many of the other reviewers gave them a "10" also, so I'm in good company.

The whole scoring system lends itself to giving higher numbers. Per TER, providers can get only a seven unless they do one or more of four different things, and they can get up to three more points if they do three of the four. It also states that even if YOU don't do it, i.e. anal, if the provider offers it, you should give her the point. So, a provider who offers DFK, anal, BBBJ or bi, then they get three points.

So, basically you get a 0 to 7 to rate someone. Most reviews seem to give a 7 or 8. Technically you can't give an 8 unless they do one of the four times, but most providers do at least one. But a lot of the reviews don't account for the four items mentioned above. So if a provider offers three of the four items and you only give an 8, then you are saying the provider only really deserves a 5. That is not a very high score. It is and can be very confusing. That is why the whole numbering issue is just a guide.

I recently gave a great lady her first 10. She has two pages of 9's, but never a 10. Now, I don't think she did anything more for me than she did for anyone else, she is a classy lady and gives her all for each of us. But by the guidelines of TER, since she does three of the four items, giving her less than a 10 is a dis-service to her.

I have gotten in the habit recently of putting my reasoning behind my score if it is a 9 or 10 so the reader can understand why I gave the score. YMMV

Maybe someone needs to write a users guide for posting reviews, written by a reviewer and not admin.

But, alas, probably no one would read it.
