A provider you are considering has 5 pages of reviews (50) over a span of 3 years. Do you read them all, or do you pick and choose?
Do you choose by rating #'s or by reviewer?

I was researching a provider that I want to see and found myself reading the higher scores and the lower scores with more attention then the middle range. Now, the provider's lower range were 7's and the higher range were 9's.
I also picked out and read reviews from reviewers that I know and have a certain level of trust in. Interesting that those reviewers were more in the mid range then the higher or lower range.
When I say rating #'s, I mean both looks and performance.

What is your methodology of finding the right provider based on her reviews?

I generally work with the most recent. Anything older than a year is generally out.

I look at the highs and lows, but tend to pay more attention to the ones that appear to be the average rating. For the high & low scores, I look to see if there was something specific that reviewer liked or disliked, that would be of interest/concern to me.

Excellent question Johnny#  I start with the most recent reviews. I'm like a diving/skating competition judge. I throw out the high and lows and try to come up with an average. I also look for reviewers I know and trust. Those reviews I may weight more.  I also look at the last page of the lady's reviews to see how long she's been in the hobby. Also will sometimes look at each page just to see if all her reviews are consistent.

I scan reviews for average scores.  Are most of the scores 8's and 9's?  OK - she's going to be pretty attractive (no way to say she's going to be model beautiful) and she's going to be pretty fun.  However, I do look at outliers.  If someone scores her a six, why?

It's funny, but most of the time we actually out ourselves in these.  "I showed up 20 minutes late after a long day at work and my team had just lost and the guys in the bar were assholes and then I meet her and she's kind of prickly and I got off and left."

OK -so she's prickly because you were late, drunk and had a bad attitude dude ... That's a low score I can move on from.

"She smelled of smoke and she was drunk.  Her pictures are 10 years old and she's gained 20lbs.  These very specific comments from very courageous reviewers - sadly all to rare these days - are the nuggets I look for.  

Everyone can have a bad day so if there is one of these in a herd of otherwise great reviews - no problem - but if they're intermittent, etc., that's a flag.

to see how that score fits in to his way of "grading" or to see if he has a pattern of not being a happy camper, or a potential problem for the ladies he sees.

I don't pay much attention to scores that are not horrible.

I read the review narrative for a provider going back one page or a few months.  I've read narratives where guys gave a mediocre score, but I felt that if I received the same treatment I would be very happy...

Mostly I am looking for actual services rendered, which cannot accurately be determined from her profile, and consistency.

When a reviewer or two gives her a low score I often find that the reviewer in question is a low scorer per se or by reading a few of his narratives I can pretty well guess why the guy is not easy to please or not easy to deal with.....

I look at the reviewers. how many reviews they have and who they've reviewed. sometimes one man's 7 is another man's 9. not a perfect science but it sure helps and you can never place enough importance on the chemistry that exisits between provider and hobbyist.

I look over the most recent page & scan back random if more.
I do check highs & lows...  particulartly lows to see why there was not a connection.  I do not discount an occasional low score, particularly a very low score.  (I often feel it was vindictive & not warrented.)  I do look hard at swings which might indicate the provider was moody or varied widely according to her preferances.  Face it, I'm no model & am not lucky in that regard.
Having put the effort into the evaluation, I use TER Favorites as a bucket list...  & the feature to allow notes, I save the eval conclusion...  including sometimes to review again at a later date.

That is the one that sets up her profile, and it's good to get some sense of the interaction behind that.

Some hobbysist views and ratings are skewed by personal tastes.

I start off with the most recent ones, then go to the oldest ones to see if much changed and then look at middle in the middle. I also look at any outlayers either far higher or far lower. These may actually tell me more. Not that I might agree with them. For instance if the issue was due to no facial, or she allowed facial, that is not important to me so it won't matter. If it was limited DATY or similair that would be a big deal for me.

Like most other people I check out the reviewers to see if they have reviewed anyone I know.

The higher scores, 9s and 10s, are frequently all the same, and I will only scan them. Yes the outline of the session will emerge, but most session follow a similar tract anyway.

Agree, I give more credence to the type of reviewer than just the numbers and I try an avoid guys who frequent Trannys

I usually focus on the most recent reviews..You've heard the theory..."What have You Done For me Lately"..But I also read the lower scored reviews, in order to determine what made the encounter less desirable for someone...On the other hand, I don't really put too much into the provider's initial reviews, since experience and familarity with providing is still new to her...

I don't put that much effort into it. I will read seven or eight recent reviews and decide based on those (the reviews more so than the numbers), her pictures, her website if she has one.

Reviews are a wonderful tool but I'm either attracted to the lady or I'm not.

I look at the numbers outside the norm if no one has reviewed her that I recognize from the boards. Well written, thoughtful reviews get more credence obviously.

Judging from how hard it is for me to assign numbers, I gather others have the same problem so I don't pat them much mind.

I was making a point.A very specific point.Before judging reviews always look at the hobbyists  history of reviews..
Some guys like occasional trannies, some like spinners, some guys like chunky girls and some favor vanilla.Personally I am not into blondes and I haven't tried a tranny yet,my reviews reflect that.If I gave a blond a 8,someone who feels automatic bloomerdust over blondes, might say the same blond is a ten..
