Scams on Eros -- The Red Flag

One huge red flag for me -- when the ad only lists a phone number and maybe an email address, but no website for the provider. It strikes me that those are always scams/not the lady in the photos/bad experiences. Do others agree?

If the lady in question interests me the first thing I do is to check her reviews first by name and secondly by phone number. The lack of a website is of less importance to me than a lack of reviews would be.

Just because a lady has a website does not make her a reputable providers and conversely the lack of a website does not automatically make her a scamster.

I agree with the last part Gambler said.

GaG has it right, do you homework and normally there isn't a problem. Now as far as Texcat's post, this is a national board, if the 260 or 280 rate is referring to the hourly gift, I must be a lucky camper, because for that donation there are some great providers where I am. And that rate is also available in cities near me.

except that now there are end of summer specials.

there is old content on the DC board that points to an odd rate like that being a cue. but it isn't reliable now because of end of summer specials.

GaGambler is correct. the best thing is to check for reviews and don't settle for shortcuts like this.

back to reviews. Look up the phone or email here on TER, if she has a good review history, great, if not I move on.

Of the ladies I have reviewed two did not have sites, only ads. One of those was on Eros.

You have to due your research, even if she has a site you have to look for reviews.

I do find providers with web sites are more business like...  less likely to be flakey or pull something.  But I've had some with no sites: low volume or UTR.

While I may be drawn to those with sites (better information)...  the reviews are where it's at.
