don't get me wrong, she was hooooot, from head to toe....

my question is... do any guys ever pay these large fees? if you are a guy and have...was it worth it?

Since I am not rich I like to pay two and have paid three.  You don't always get what you pay for.  I do better with the two bill girls.

1300 for 4 hours is not that expensive.  Many of the more popular providers who post on this board are in this range.  One I can think of is far more expensive.  And some markets are more expensive than others.  San Francisco seems to be one at the high end.

You can also argue that one shouldn't buy a 60,000 BMW 5 series when a Buick Regal for 24,000 gets you there in the same amount of time.

It's simply a question of taste, requirements, and wallet.  I personally have paid as much as that, and then some, for a 4 hour "date".  I've also paid half that price for the same 4 hours with as much, if not perhaps, more enjoyment.

I will agree that there are some providers that have priced themselves too high, but in a free market society it's their right to do so, as much as it is our right to see other providers within our budget.  

And, BTW, a 4 bill per hour rate, with a multi-hour discount would probably translate to 1100-1200, so the difference, statistically, is insignificant.

I guess you should stick with that $$ gal you speak of.  I know for a fact that, at least where I live, there are plenty of providers in that range. And an awful lot of them are real good.

Not long ago I was on a NYC site and one gal was $1,100 per hr. $5,000 for the night.  Reminds me of a trip I took to Vegas with an audiophile friend that took me to a room where we had to set and listen to $40,000 tube Amps.  Now how the fuck can any human tell the difference between an $800 Sony amp. and a $40,000 amp.  What possibly could be the difference with a provider at $1,100 per hr. (other than a pron star with a name.)
 By the way after three years in the hobby and dozens of providers one of the five best ever was a 24yo new to the business who charged $100.  In this hobby you do not always get what you pay for.  And sometimes your very lucky and get much, much more than you pay for.

As with speakers, the provider takes a message and sends it to the listener.  Some speakers (providers) simply take the message and deliver it in the purest form without distortion but all speakers will color the message to some extent just like a provider.  High end speakers cost more because of a generally accepted reproducible sound quality, workmanship, exclusiveness, materials.

I can think of so many different ways the provider colors the message ie. looks, DFK, BBBJ, Greek, age, eagerness to please, availability.  Hopefully as informed consumers with a ability to come to TER to compare notes and prices we can make an informed choice.

Just ask a wine expert if he can tell the difference between a cheap wine and an expensive wine.  I think your $100 young girl was probably a fresh beajolis.
