I've read through many of the reviews and websites about Tantric Providers, Goddesses, and Tantrikas (sp?).

I'm not trying to insult anyone's religion here.....just separate fact from hype.

Is a visit to a Tantric provider worth it, or is this just another way of packaging the same product?

Some seem to be trying to sell a 'mystical experience'......are they?

Tantra .. although I am completely uneducated on it .. is quite a DARN SKIPPY hallaballoUUUUU!!!! in other words wow.
I suppose just as there are a million 20 somethings on AOL right now pretending to be skilled Dominatrixes.. there could be many that are not skilled enough to provide you with the "session" of nirvana you seek.. but GOLLYYYYYY I want to learn how to do it !

I agree with Morghan, there are many who would use the idea of Tantra to simply turn a buck and give nothing more then a standard session and then there are those of us who are truly schooled in the art. Of course, most of us who are truly schooled understand that not everyone is capable. Other disciplines are required first IE: meditation or yoga.
  Tantra is not simply about a set of excercises that allow you to achieve something. Tantra is also not about sex alone. Tantra is the exchange of energies but one must be in tune with their own energy before they attempt to exchange it with another. A good Tantra instructor can show you how to start to get in touch with that energy but, it may take some time before you are able to achieve true exchange. It all depends on the individual.

When done well it is mind blowing!  Should be tired by all.

Tantra is indeed legit, but as with anything, their are plenty of pretenders out there as well.

I have seen two women that advertise Tantra on the West Coast.

The first experience was a total rip-off.  I spent three hours and hundreds of dollars for a bath and a HJ.

The second experience was a total delight.  I was there for an entire afternoon and was so exhausted (read that as totally relaxed) and complete at the end of the experience, I need to go back to my hotel for the evening and sleep.  Best damn day of my life.  BTW, the second experience was 1000% better, 3 times as long and cost half the dollars.

Can't give you a reference on the second woman as she is now no longer with us (auto accident, very sad), but if you look around and ask around, you are going to find several very talented women that make this their practice and are very good at it.
