I have been corresponding with a lady who is quite a distance from me.  My question is : Guys how far would you drive to see a lady and be back home the same day. No overnights.  Ladies how far have you traveled to meet a client so he doesn't have to travel all the way to meet you?  I would love to hear the distances traveled to get the ying and yang together.....

The irony of that trip was that my date took me to see Jackie Mason's consert in Dallas.  And I am based in NYC

But dropping the top and cruising a beautiful drive on a summer day to an interesting stranger...it was quite an adventure.

One of my favs from NYC flew from NY to LA. I was amazed he came after all He went through. His connection flight from NorthWest was delayed overnight. He had to shell out a hotel in MN. Then catch the second leg the following  morning. To make it to LA.
I was thinking he had been one of those time wasters. Until He phoned from the LA hotel.
What a trooper. So our overnight session was fun. And I was so flattered He would go through all that for me...
We have met several times since. And I am always going to appreicaite the things some guys have to do to come pay a visit...Literaly...

I drive Boston to New York regularly to see gals there and will be driving to Philly pretty soon.

I once flew to Cincinatti once to see a favorite there, and I've flown to Florida on many occasions to spend overnights there with different favorites too.

There's a gal in Hong Kong who wants me to come out to see her.  I haven't done it, but I've checked out the fares on Orbitz.

I guess our motto should be:  Have cock, will travel.

But the question got me thinking about how FAR would I would go. Well for my special ATF I thought of this song from "The Proclamers", and some lyrics that would apply ..

I once drove 15 hours, round trip to see a lady.  I'm going to see here again, but this time I think I'll fly.

Can I mention the shortest travel? The next street over. When she gave me directions I was like what the huh?  She wasn't even worth reviewing, too bad.

... but eventually I found it easier to fly HER/THEM to LA instead :P

I ended up looking for a last minute arrangement and had one of my best experiences ever.

but typically 7. I'm not much into impulse control.

Let's see.....

...by car, 400 miles round trip (Boston to NY)
...by train, 400 miles round trip (Boston to NY)
...by plane, many trips, but the longest would be Boston to Seattle or Boston to Vegas.

All to see that same remarkable favorite lady of mine!

And it was worth every second of it.

about 700 miles, but it was to go to a party with hopes of a hookup which did happen.  However, for a pre-arranged date, about 70 miles.  Both were worth it.

Once I flew to London solely for the purpose of seeing a Lady there.  I had met her on a business trip, seen her several times during that trip and she had become my ATF.  Saw her several times again the next time I was in London for business.  A few months later, she was leaving the business and moving back to Russia.  Wanted to see her one last time and so I flew to London and spent a glorious weekend with her.  That was several years ago but we still stay in touch to this day through e-mail and snail mail even though she left the business a couple of years ago.  So. . . to make a long story short, my then ATF became a real friend in the end.  Very rare but it is truly special when that happens.
