What type of research do guys do before seeing a provider (besides reading reviews and looking at websites)?  And ladies what do you do ?  I ALWAYS say the most effective way to know about a provider is not only reading reviews and looking at their respective websites, but PM'ing guys that have seen these women.  The guys will tell you what really happened because it's a private message.  They will not tell you the truth in the reviews or on the boards.  I always PM guys and inquire....What did she look like?  What was her REAL age, weight, body type...etc.   Did the light bulb go off for some of you?  Yep....DO that and you will get better outcomes and it helps manage risk.

You see the ladies walking, talking, sipping, eyeing, moving, going out for a smoke, everything. The one that pops the hardest boner... research done.

I start with her ad and then check out her pix and pricing.  If both look good, I move to her reviews, noting whether I'm familiar with any of her reviewers.  I also check to see if any of them have reviewed gals I've seen, to see if we agreed.  After that, if it all checks out, I'll PM some of her reviewers for more background.
As for M&Gs, I go whenever there's one nearby because, as you mentioned, there's no substitute for seeing what a gal actually looks like.   I've met some amazing women this way. And, since you've already mingled with her before having a date, the ice has already been broken and you know exactly who you're going to find "behind the door." So does she.
