But what do hobbyists eat, and avoid eating, on the day of the  date?

I think the simple, obvious rule is to eat lightly, but what dietery dos and don'ts, if any, are practiced by hobbyists?  And by providers?  Especially if they have booked  multiple dates in a given day.

I stock up on gamerfuel--doritos, corn nuts, cheez-its, slimjims, and a case of rockstar.

I dunno man, I don't think there is really any set diet.  I mean, people don't consciously think about what to eat before getting it on.

I will say one thing though:  Avoid eating a crave case from white castle, or and place that sells 'sliders'.  Also, avoid milk and dark green vegetables.  Both cause bad cases of flatulence.  Obviously, you want to avoid the beans as well.

Carboloading for marathons should actually take place several days before the race.  Most race expos still have the night-before pasta meal, but this is more from tradition than anything else.

So what do I do for hobbying?  I dunno -- I eat whatever I normally eat.

I try to avoid anything really pungent, such as garlic, onions, hot peppers or curry. I don't enjoy it when a woman smells (or tastes) of garlic, so I assume that a number of women would be turned off if I smell that way.

Other than that, drinking lots of pineapple juice in the days before a date is something I try to do.

A lot of fruit, especially pinapple, and water the days leading up to the date.  24 hrs. before it is protein time.

Avoid garlic and other spices that won't taste good to someone else. Mostly, eat lightly. Don't like to play on a full stomach.

I've seen at least one referrence to egg whites having a beneficial effect on the consistency, color and thickness of semen.  Any 411/urban legend on this?

Also, what about these fruits :

1. mango
2. papaya
3. pears
4. peaches
5. apricots

Any positive effect, negative effect, or no effect?

so I started on a pineapple juice regimen about two years ago and at least two of my regulars report improved taste.

It's cheaper than orange juice also.
