Providers: How many do you reject?

I've seen some posts lately about ways in which providers screen their prospective clients.  Which made me wonder -- how many don't pass the test?  10%?  90%?

So, starting from the original contact from a potential new client, what percentage actually end up with a real life appointment?

For bonus points -- why not?  Bad vibe?  Bad references?  You're not accepting new clients at this time?

Bonus points:

From yesterday -
"I 'd like to meet you sometimes, let me know if you want too also."  (The entire email)
and,
"I'm new and I have no references but I am an important public figure and must be discreet.  Please reconsider your screening requirements just for me."
and,
"I'm only in town this evening and am from out of state/country.  I have no references (and would like to meet in two hours)..."

That's just some from yesterday.  Most are along those lines.

About 50 percent, maybe less.

The majority of emails -- and the most frustrating -- come from gentlemen who don't give all the information I need in the first email. If you're a newbie, that's understandable. However, the gentlemen who have been in the hobby long enough to know better should email with all the necessary information right up front. It saves us (providers) and them a lot of time, especially when they want an appointment the same day -- very frustrating.

What's even more frustrating is -- after three or four emails from a guy -- he says, "Boy this is getting difficult." No, duh!  If he would have given me references with emails addresses and/or phone numbers up front, how many hours he wanted to see me and when, it wouldn't have been difficult at all. Gees! :) I even have a Client Information on my website guys can fill out (completely) and mail to me.

Hugs,
Ciara

Great idea-  I'd love to see how my initial e-mail stacks up...

I usally give just my given real name and ask for rates, a nearby landmark for plannning purposes(I SAY that I will get the actual addy later- when I schedule), and what the lady will need from me to feel comfortable with a session.  The last is not money, but ID and references stuff.

Am I not giving enough?  I expect this note to start a dialogue, not result in an immediate date...

if you visit, I'll send you my e-mail via Shotgun Vick mode.  I think you'll understand it!

Man, I still can't believe guys are expecting a response based on those eloquent e-mails.

but I prefer initial contact by email. Men don't have to use my Client Information Sheet off of my website, but they always end up asking what I need for references when it's listed right on my website.

There are certain things gentlemen ask on the telephone that they shouldn't ask. Look at the lady's website to find out her donations. If you're not sure, then you can ask if they're the same, but don't ask how much? Or, there are other pertinent questions that won't get us both into trouble. There's a reason for email and websites. Wink!

Hugs,
Ciara

don't let me be hit by those things... they should be registered as lethal weapons!  Babes, would love it if you could tour in Philly!  there are two providers who have the face that is very much intriguing to me - you and Chelsea of NY!  To me, very appealing.... just something about your face that makes me weak in the knees....  what? is it?! Just soooo sexy!

Seriously, please don't reject me.... without torturing me.

I try to be upfront and honest when contacting any lady.  If you lie or act or say anything  inappropriate you deserve to be rejected.  I plan well in advance (my appointments are usually scheduled 1-2 months ahead of time).  I will only see well reviewed ladies that I know are the best at what they do.

prior to marriage a few years hobbying there too, I must say, I have never had to ask what for what.  It was always pretty clear.  I have also had only one session where I thought that one of us was not equal on the exchange - and in that one instance I got much more than I bargained for.

Read.... follow directions, heavens knows they are posted in several places on the internet.  I work in a profession where the directions are printed everywhere, and supposedly smart people are doing the work.  It never fails but people do not follow the instructions.  Why? do they think they are the exception... sorry but this is one of my hot buttons (I have a lot of them).  it even got to the point that I posted a list of things to do when working - the first on the list - READ and FOLLOW the INSTRUCTIONS!

Simeple NO?  but I'll bet there are lots who do not follow.... Including this bizzare silly one!

...the other Ciara has rejected me in this very thread. Can we become lovers? Would you mind? I'm very needy and high maintenance, but so worth it.

I reject about 80% possibly.

One thing I hate is Type A personalities on the phone. That is a total turn off.

Another thing I don't like is guys who call and say "what's your fee?" No hello or anything.

Bad vibes I get those & alot of times & then find out another lady has met with the guy who I put off & he messed her about in some way. This is why communication is important.

Here is a big turn off, guys who call or email & talk badly about other girls. that just bothers me.

I have met some great guys though!

I give them my full name, phone number, 3 different active email addresses, two references with names and phones, social security number, business tax ID number, names of my pets (both living and dead), names of all living blood relatives, the mileage of my last oil change (for both cars and the motorcycle), current cholesterol levels, my birth stone (with sample), 4 letters of recomendation from college and high school guidance councilors, 3 years' income tax returns, certified, notarized, sealed with an offial-looking stamp, delivered certified, registered, overnight mail...

...and to date I've not been able to get past one single screening process.  If they require extensive screening, I know it's just going to be a waste of time and skip over them, because no matter how much I do it just never seems to be enough for them.  I gave up.

...... and mostly my sense of adventure. In my own home town I see a new client about every other week.

Some of the factors in my deciding to see a new client is how reliable their information is, how respectful they are -And... most importantly, if they have seen a fellow provider.

I guess there is some credibility to the age old statement: Not what you know but who you have slept with (* that is the age old statement, right??*)  LOL   kisses ~Tori
