Hello TER, Franky here, and a new member. Not new to the scene though, been everywhere from Amsterdam to Thailand, NYC to LV,, and have participated for years without even knowing you guys existed. Great website and I plan on using it. I just read a review on an LA provider who is first on my list and I can't wait to meet her and others, using the benefit of the reviews. A quick question, please, regarding prices. When I read a review with many responses by members here, how is the price information updated? Or, perhaps it isn't? I see only one mention of price and I was just wondering if that is the most recent figure from the most recent review or perhaps an average ... exactly what is it? Should I type in the "juicy details" box, the specific price I paid when doing a review? Thanks and look forward to being a member. Franky
The price in the profile is normally the rate that the first reviewer paid. Ususally, the subsequent reviewers pay about the same price unless there is a drastic change. If that is the case, hopefully someone would email STAFF to inform TER of the new rate. Also, reviewers sometimes would indicate how much they paid in the "juicy section" by saying $$, $$.5, $$$, or $$$$. *shrug*
OK, I'm brand new at the $$$ signs. Do they mean anything specific? Does $$ mean less than $100. Does $$$ mean 100 or 900? And are posters allowed to just say the real number like $22.50 and a pepsi?
The price on TER is usually the price the first reviewer paid unless someone has notified TER via a problem report to change it. Linking to the provider site may be helpful but not all provider's list their rates on their website. Sometimes the website rates are not even correct. In a number of cases I have been quoted a rate via e-mail that was higher than the rate on either the TER reviews or the Provider's website. In short you probably have to ask to be sure.
