I've been seeing "specials" of $25 off or $20 off the hour rate.  Is it just me or do others find this silly?

Does anyone really decide to book when they see such a small difference?

For me, if you want my attention offer at least $50 off, or at least an extra 30 minutes.

Or something creative, like "book 3 sessions, get one 50% off".

Or, special-- 2 hours for the 1 hour rate, this week only.

Whatever happened to frequent player miles? (:

Comments?

Even $50 off a $500/hour is ridiculous.

The problem with giving real specials is that the next guy feels ripped off paying her regular rate. Also, most escorts tell me that reduced rate specials really don't work that well to attract new business.

IMHO, 90 min. for one hour rate is the best way to go on specials.

shouldn't  have  to  be  posted. Most  seasoned  hobbyist  Know a  Gem  when  they see  one  and  more  then  likely a really  good  provider  gives  discounts  and  extra  perks  to  those  frequent Flyers. (now  you  take  too  much  advantage  of a  girls  generosity  expect  to  be  cut  off)

Also  if  you  get a  discount  this  week,  and you  had  so  much  fun  you  call  her again  next  month, Please  be  a  gentleman  and  don't  even  ask  if  the  discount  still  in effect. If  it  is  not  Posted  anywhere, you  better  damm  well  give  her, her full  rate. One  reason  many  girls  do  not  offer  discounts  is  that  exact reason.

I  do  believe  in  the  grandfather  clause, Anyone  who  saw  me  before my  rates  went  up  are  still  welcome  at  same  (OLD)rate.

Sola Love (in Seattle) has something you suggest - frequent flyer miles.  I believe it's something for her regulars as opposed to new boys.  But it's giving an overall discount for multiple dates.  Works out nice for all involved.

Reminds me of my Yogurt punch card.  Buy some get one free kinda deal.  Cum to think of it I have one of those cards in my wallet for Bagels too.  And let me see, one for a video place.  (Kim Kelly made me clean out my wallet so I have fewer than I used to.)

Needless to say, if I had a nice card with a lady's photo that had little punch spaces on it I would be more apt to go on a multiple date... Because I don't even go to a different yogurt shop anymore.

I believe in that grandfather clause too, however, depending on the business, there is a time when rates must be raised. If we give the privledged enough notice, they will appreciate it and stay loyal.

When I see them offered, it looks white-trashey.

When I see guys looking for them, it's just embarrassing.

At least the 2nd half. Offering is one thing, looking for them is something else again. Low, low class.

I agree 100% with you Lex.

Offering a discount is a business decision.

Looking for one is lo class and insulting to the lady.

Just my opinion...

Ladies have convinced you that it is rude to seek a discount. I can't blame them, but I can blame the guys for buying into it.

There is no harm in making an offer if done in a nice and respectful way. If you normally won't pay more than $300, what is wrong in asking a $400 lady if she will see you at that rate? If she doesn't want to, fine. If business is slow, she just may just agree.

No harm done if done respectfully. Ladies take advantage of our fear of appearing cheap. If I'm not afraid to make an offer on a car, a house, or any other service, why should I be embarrassed to make an offer to an escort?

I don't pay every player what they ask for.

...it's a set of unwritten laws collectively known as 'manners'.

Gentlemen know them instinctively, a few others can be taught them, but the rest...well...they're hopeless.

That's why we invented caste systems!

One reason that I think asking for a discount is impolite is because this is an extremely personal service (let's say more personal than a haircut) and I think it is unwise, as well as tacky, to negotiate in such circumstances.  When the services are being delivered, do you want the provider to be thinking that she has discounted her fee to you?

For those who are cruder, do you want your dick in the mouth of someone who feels you are taking advantage of her?

While I may not be the most "manly man, or studliest stud" around, that may be one reason why the ladies I see really enjoy seeing me.

Treat the ladies with respect.
That includes not trying to "negotiate'.

Some guys get it, some never will.

And that is NOT...

just my opinion...

I agree. I think if men can afford the higher rate, why discount?
But, I will say I am guilty of disconting $50 off... but only as an incentive to book 1 day in advance because I got tired of guys calling for last minute apts. I did it as a incentive, simple as that. I like to know what I am doing a day ahead of time.
Has it worked? for the most part...
But most guys book in advance and pay it al anyways because the money is not an issue with them.
