Those reports are fun. On one of my other websites, it tells me what percentage of viewers come from what state, and the number one state viewing that site is Virginia! Go figure.
But, although that might tell you how many people or percentage view those pictures, you don't know which pictures they PREFER to look at! I think most people enjoy looking at or doing just about anything once, but not necessarily that they would go to it again and again.
I remember going to your site and checking out just about everything on there (and it was fun!), but when I recently went back, thinking, what does Anya look like again, of course I went back to see your face! ![]()
But, I must also say, your 'coochie' picture in the contest is a good picture!
I haven't been keeping up with the boards these past several weeks, so if this topic has already been discussed, I apologize. I flipped through the last few days' worth of posts and didn't see it.
Anyway. I'm constantly amazed by the fact that, while a pussy as part of a woman's body can be an incredibly sexy, very beautiful thing; but when it's completely disembodied from the woman, it can be, in my opinion at least, kind of ugly. I used to think that I was pretty alone on this, judging from flipping through pretty much any issue of Hustler, where gynecological shots fill pages with extreme close-ups of gaping snatch.
But seeing the current top rankings of the coochie contest, I'm thinking maybe I'm not quite so alone as I thought. The top five (at least at the time I'm writing this) all are shots that are pulled back a little bit, where we can see some of the rest of the woman, and not just a spread-wide extreme closeup. Many of the other shots... just don't do anything for me. Take, for example, [provider's name removed, as it was pointed out to me, and I agreed, that I was being pretty rude by singling someone out] picture. Now, I don't know what she looks like. She doesn't live in my area, and I've not clicked on her link. She could be an incredibly beautiful person, and what I'm saying here is not meant as an insult to her. For all I know, if I were to meet her in person, I just might want to get on my hands and knees and worship at the temple that is her pussy. But I wouldn't know it from that picture. That picture not only doesn't turn me on, it actively turns me off.
So, am I alone here? Like I said, I suspect, from the current results of the contest, perhaps I'm not. But maybe I am. What do you guys think?

Pan camera back to show a man standing alone in the middle of the deset at night as tumble weeds roll by.
It would seem from the current voting in this contest that most guys prefer a well pronounced clit with medium sized labia, surrounded by a cleanly shave region. Just "in the pink" if you will. What is your fav? Do you like lab lips larger? Or absent?
alone in being the only person here with the BALLS to say something most men have thought about at some point or another
of course, the "real" men probably won't come out here to admit it. instead you'll get a coupla aliased "boyz" who will call you a homo or a fag or redirect you to the TS board, etc
beauty is not only in the eye of the beholder but it's also defined in the *context* in which it appears ... separate the woman from the p*ssy and on its own it can look like a day old ham sandwich ... or a gun shot wound, but then how many people have seen that up close, eh? ... but of course, NOT to the mucho men, i'm sure ... they can ALWAYS tell the real deal a mile away, sans legs or torso ... and it always makes them salivate, cuz their MEN damn it! ![]()
Peter Gabriel once said in an interview that beauty is a matter of scale! ... now what exactly did he mean by that obtuse remark? ... naturally he had to elaborate for the confused reporter ... he said at a familiar distance a woman can look so alluring and fetching it can make your heart skip a beat (and believe me he KNOWS a thing or two about skipping a beat!
... BUT .. zoom in closer, closer, closer until you're staring at the pores and hairs and dead epidermal skin cells flaking off her skin and you just may find a nightmarish sight!
so let them flame you all they want ... i say kudos to you for having the cohones to bring up such a topic on this (of all) boards! ![]()
Hey, being in the minority or different doesn't bother me at all. Hell, I've got a huge fetish for pierced punk-rock girls. That alone makes most 'real men' think I'm weird. As for the calls of 'fag' or telling me to check out the TS pages... doesn't bother me a bit. I'm secure enough in my sexuality to know there's not a gay bone in my body, and so un-homophobic to not have accusations bother me in the least. I AM confused as to how saying a spread, disembodied pussy isn't very attractive, but that a pussy attached to a woman is one of the most beautiful sights in the world, makes me gay. But, whatever.
I totally agree with you about 'context', and you seem to totally understand what I'm trying to say. By the way, extra points for quoting Peter Gabriel! ![]()
I understand completely what you mean -- context is everything. Well, not quite, I don't necessarily feel the same way about other body parts. That said, when everything comes together, DATY is my favorite thing.
-- Modified on 9/18/2003 3:56:50 PM
Oh, I totally agree; I love DATY. I think people may have misunderstood what I was saying. I'm not saying getting close to a pussy turns me off or anything; when I'm eating a woman out, it's a PART of her. It's only the close-up, disembodied pictures that kinda turn me off.
Well, the first time I clicked on it and the pictures were smack dab in front of my face, I was very much surprised to say the least!
Funny how one can assume that people would have posed as I know I had presumed and why I was so shocked. One guy commented to me that he thought it unfair to see some of the poses were from 'behind' (Tabitha, Ophelia) as that was 'cheating'. But, as there were no rules or specifications (that I know of) stating what position the pose had to be, I think it was pretty much open (no pun intended!) as far as posing and so they could pose any way they wanted - as you can see by the variety.
You say it turned you off, but was it that it was so 'wide open' that turned you off or the fact that you couldn't see more of the lady to get a 'feel' for more of her overall person/beauty? In other words, even if the 'spread eagle' macro shot was still the same pose and that still was part of the turn off, if you could see her legs and torso, it would've changed it for you? Ok..
Well, I picked someone not listed in the top 5 (though I thought the top 5 were good choices) and I know exactly why that photo had the appeal for me. I felt that from just a photography standpoint, it was a good picture.
Well, I certainly give the ladies credit who did participate.
(I wanted to enter the eyes contest myself..)
I get a daily statistics report from my website that tells me, among other things, which pages are looked at and how often. (For those that might not know, if you click on the thumbnail of an image, the bigger image is its own page and has its own address.) Anyway, the enlarged versions of all the pictures in my site that prominently feature pink have consistently been in the top 25 (of 400 or so images). A lot of guys like looking at pussy, apparently. That's one of the things I like about having a website, actually, I know what kind of images are popular without having to ask!

Female genitals remind me of a work of art. I think that only someone that is secretly turned off by them would think that they are unpleasant to look at.
Those reports are fun. On one of my other websites, it tells me what percentage of viewers come from what state, and the number one state viewing that site is Virginia! Go figure.

The way those reports work is that they do a reverse DNS on the IP Address and then look up the state of the registered name.
Since AOL users generate most of the internet traffic, all requests for internet pages from AOL users come from AOL's Caching servers. The users could be anywhere in the world.
Like you say, numbers don't lie, so I can't argue with you! I kinda knew I was in the minority, but I was wondering how small of a minority it was!
By the way, I checked out your website. Nice! I'm sure you can guess which pictures I liked better than others. ![]()
Your so right!...the pussy by itself is a sight for sore eyes, IMO...Alien in nature...but when attached to the rest of the Female being...PRICELESS!...the pussy must be looked at.... as part of the whole female experience...the sexy, erotic female being....eyes,nose,lips,hair,fingers,nails,face,ass,breasts,legs,soft skin, thighs, etc, etc.
and the PUSSY at point of arrousal....a secretion of vaginal fluid that is a sight, taste, and smell to behold.....
as far as the monologue...it not only speaks magnificently when pressed with a "forked" tongue....it sings...."ole man River"...
"I love the smell of pussy in the morning"

I find the womans body to be sensual, erotic, cury, sexy work of beauty. Seeing a lady with a nice trimmed bush and curvy hips are quite a turn on .
However I must concur that I find a graphic shot of the pussy to be not nearly as attractive.
Not only do I NOT prefer to look at the spread eagle coochie on a woman (and I LOVE women!) I also prefer seeing them in nice revealing lingerie (or swimsuit, hotpants etc.will do) whether than just standing there naked. Sure, I like to watch them take those things off--it's the Teeease that I like...
but I'd rather look at Victoria's Secret than Hustler.
Speaking of which; Playboy has recently decided to change their format to a more "tasteful" layout... And even with their current layout they don't show "spread" shots.
I think many publications (like Perfect 10!) are realizing many men don't like the raunchy "in your face" kind of porn.

Everybody is entitled to an opinion. However, when you single out a provider by name, regardless of your intent, it certainly draws attention to that person, good or bad. In this case, I think it was done in poor taste. You ought to be more careful in your wording because I know that the provider in question has seen this post and is uncomfortable with the comments. Please be more courteous... these ladies are people with real feelings too.
Point taken, and I apologize. As I said, I don't know her, didn't see her whole picture, and wasn't commenting on her in general; just using the small, out-of-context picture as an example. But you're still absolutely right; I shouldn't have mentioned anyone by name, and I apologize for that.
EDIT: Oh, and I edited her name out of the original posting. I would like to add, that while I think you're absolutely right, I should not have mentioned anyone by name, this does fit in with my point. It's all about context, and I would never judge any woman on one photo of a single part of their anatomy. As others have pointed out, it's all about context. I DO feel I made that pretty clear in my original posting. Still, knowing I hurt someone's feelings sucks, and I should have known better than singling someone out by name. I do apologize to her.

Thank you for taking my criticism in stride. I appreciate your apology to her and it shows real class.
I have to agree, some of the coochie pics just aren't particularly attractive, especially the isolated shots.
An old boyfriend used to take some close up pics of me and often I disliked the real close-ups. However one time he snapped a pic of me bending over...it could be a clone of the Tabitha shot in the contest....even I liked that one of me. ![]()
I just kept looking at some of those soft, succulent, pink petals and I kept wondering how they feel, gently rolling between my lips. On the unparted ones, how thrilling it is to feel her wetness inside on my tongue. I could almost hear her quiet gasp as my tongue parts her moistening lips and begins it ascent north, to the real prize.
And then I woke up...
Oh yes my friend, I like them. I like them indeed.

I had dinner with a well know hobbyist last night and we where discussing the same thing. I checked the other day all of the top 5 in the contest where not of the spread variety. I thought all along this was a somewhat tasteless contest. All thought, no one admires the female form more than I do, the vagina what ever reason when photographed alone is not that appealing.

To me it is much more than just the single body part. The whole woman is a package, and to me the extreme closeups of the coochie look too much like page from an anatomy book and not sexy.
Now if you show an upper-torso with beautiful breasts, that is a completely different story..
...& so do Georgia O'Keeffe, Picasso, and a host of fine artists and photographers. The images speak to my little brain and to my big brain (a wonderful non verbal "male" part). I looked at Pixie and almost bought a ticket to Los Angeles on the next plane. Jenni looked inviting enough to crawl into the picture. Carrie, Shaye-Lynn, Ophelia, Celine, Josi, ... The list goes on.
To quote Leonard Cohn:
As I knelt there before the delta, the alpha, and the omega, the cradle of the ocean and the seas.
Like a blessing from heaven, if only for a moment, I was cured and my heart was at ease.
Thank you!!! You give me reason to live!!!
