Thank you. Right now I am seeing this article posted in a lot of places, I guess trying to make us southerners look like a bunch of diseased idiots. I also think a contributing factor in the numbers found in that article, may have something to do with our prison overpopulation. People can carry HIV for years before testing positive. In the meantime, they go to prison, where sanitation is not the best, and end up spreading it- fighting, having unprotected sex- and carrying it home to family when they get out.

With absolutely no statistics to compare to population growth, or, how many of these people have had it for years and are just now getting tested.

33%of population and 40% of cases is not much of a difference.

One could explain that the warmer weather means people screw more often per year in the South.
