What's the big deal with prostate massage?  I've heard guys freak out about it, but as far as I can tell, it amounts to a finger up the ass.  Now, I can see how that enhances an experience...lotsa nerve endings and such...but my experience that far is limited to a doctor's visit...and I gotta say, that wasn't exactly fun OR what I'd classify as a "massage".

I share the interest.  Last time I saw my doc it was time for my first prostate exam.  He put some kleenex up on the exam table for me as I bent over.  Curiously, I asked him if it hurt so damn much that he expected tears.  No sir, it's to clean off the lube after the exam.

A prostate massage is just that - a massage of your prostate. That's a lot more than a finger in the ass.

The prostate is a chestnut-shaped male reproductive organ, located under the bladder, which adds secretions to the sperm during ejaculation of semen. It surrounds the urethra and is rounded at the top. There are many glands supported by connective tissue, that discharge fluids into the urethra and two ejaculatory ducts. Those ducts, which also carry sperm and fluid discharged by the seminal vesicles, join the urethra inside the prostate. The prostate contributes most of the seminal fluid. The reason physicians put a finger up your rectum is to check for an enlarged prostate which can indicate problems. This is a medical procedure and not supposed to be fun. An actual prostate massage involves working your way in there slowly with a very lubed finger. You can clearly feel the man's prostate and you can rub it gently with a fingertip in a circular motion or a small vibrating motion. If this is combined with stimulation to the penis, it gives a very different feeling than just an orgasm centered in the penis alone.

Any woman who has had a g-spot vaginal orgasm as opposed to a clitoral orgasm can tell you they feel different. One feels deeper, more intense, more of a whole body thing. A lot of men say the same about the orgasm that results from prostate stimulation. You can actually feel the prostate swell up like a hard walnut right before ejaculation. That's how I know a guy is going to cum.

If you want to try it, be sure to have empty your bowels first. You will feel uncomfortable if you're already full of last night's dinner. Make sure your partner has clean hands, a clean glove, and LOTS of water based lube handy. Now, this is what I always tell my clients: instead of just "trying to relax" (which never works) just bear down a bit as if you're having a bowel movement. This will open you up and relax the anal spincter. Now, if the man is lying in his back and a woman sits facing him between his legs, she should put a finger in palm UP. All men come in different sizes but generally if you have the finger ALL the way in you can clearly feel the prostate gland if you press up with the finger.

Now even with all the best laid plans, some guys don't like this sort of stimulation. You might try all this and STILL think, "What's the big deal?" Or maybe you'll just think, "Hey...ouch!" And that's ok too, everybody and every BODY is different.

My experience:  
During a HJ the provider used a small, semi-hard vibrator (with a condom and lots of lube) and SLOWLY worked it in the back door.  I was a virgin there! LOL...

Anyway, the HJ was progressing nicely, she was talking dirty, and the pocket rocket was causing a pleasant, but not awesome sensation.  Then BANG!!BANG! BANG!! I had it done once, I don't know if it's so great.  The up-the-butt thing wasn't nearly as uncomfortable as I thought it would be, however the release itself was quite powerful.  It freaked me out...I think if anything, it was too powerful.  It made me uncomfortable, and I was sore down there for a day or two afterwards.  

I'm still debating going back.  I really liked the chick and how she handled things, but I'm not so sure about the whole prostate thing.

To me, there is no better proof of the absence of a higher deity than the construction of the prostate gland. Certainly, no God with any intelligence would construct a gland that completely surrounds the urethra, and constricts the urethra with increasing age (i.e., benign prostastic hyperplasia) leading to frequency of urination and incomplete voiding of the bladder.

This is clearly a YMMV kind of thing.  I personally love it, though I can understand why many don't (or think they don't .
I enjoy being penetrated with a finger.  There is something very intense about prostate massage:  a feeling of fullness, urgency, and lack of control.  I find orgasms from prostate massage a lot more intense than regular penile orgasms:  I cum longer, harder, with a lot more contractions.  Of course, it takes practice and relaxation and a gentle partner.  The comment about bearing down is a good one.  Take it slow.  BTW, it's totally different than a medical exam:  I find those painful too.  My advice is, if you're at all curious, try it with an experienced provider who is known for giving them.  It's not for everyone, but it's great for those who are into it.

Yeah, it's a funny thing about docs and those exams.  I've had several of them the last several years and since I have been moving around, different docs have done them.  The male docs I've been to seem to prefer the blood test.  It cost me 50 bucks on the insurance for the test (no cost to me) but I got the impression that the male docs didn't WANT to do the exams!!!

By contrast, the last doc I went to was female, very attractive (although married), tall slender blonde, about 35. She barked out a command for me to bend over and I swear she seemed to enjoy it.  And it wasn't bad for me either.  I was kinda shocked and let out "Damn girl, that only cost me a 10 buck co-pay?" - that remark got me hustled out the door fast, but I have always wondered what a little more charm might have produced.  Anybody ever f*ck a woman doctor in an exam room?
