past or active military........Thank you.

Your service has allowed me to live the type of live that others in different parts of the world may only be able to dream of.

I am in your debt. Welcome home.

U.S. Army, 1981-1985.

I will never forget standing guard duty at 2am on 1/1/84 in front of the post I was stationed at in Berlin.  After the Beruit Marine barracks bombing a couple of months prior, we were on alert over the holidays (the post had been blockaded several times by protests over the Pershing 2 deployment), and there was a long wide street that led up to the main gate of my post that would have been perfect for a suicide bomber.  All that was standing in the way was me and my loaded M16.  Interesting thoughts that go through your mind at a time like that.

ALL my brothers and sisters who serve/served...stand tall, be proud.

And let us all always, always remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice, from our nations begining to the present and beyond.

WELL DONE

Thank You

After we got back from Desert Storm, there were a few Las Vegas cathouses offering freebies to any serviceman with a set of orders showing he'd been in combat. After being made to feel so honored, it made me want to go right back to the desert to fight some more. You ladies might want to consider taking care of our boys in a similar way---show some TRUE patriotism and sacrifice.

Marine Corps post-combat motto: We're looking for a few good women!

Interesting that you picked "follow me" as a user name.  I'm assuming that you attended Fort Benning School for Boys - or maybe it's just a coincidence that you would choose that moniker. I was in OCS there in '67-'68 - life hasn't been the same since.  Are you a brother who haunted the streets of Columbus way back when?
