I love to please people. Even as a kid, I wanted to have everyone to like me. I enjoy being kind and polite. Here in NYC, I seem to be getting kinda depressed about working. Can you all be so kind to give to me some encouragement as to how to get excited about working again? I have been trying to lose weight and see my mainly my atf client as I find them so kind.I am takeing a trip to LV to to relax and to find the encourgement for myself to get my kindness back. Client/friends are good friends. I guess I am feeling a little blue. Could you please post some nice thing to lift my spirts so I can be the best Provider I can ? NYC is tough, so I am heading Las Vegas to pamper me. Ladies and gents can you please help me out so I don't become bitter? Thank you,Devin Taylor www.Devin38G.com

Well, it sounds as if you are overwhelmed with too many things to sort through at once.
Try picking out one thing at a time and work on that.
Something I've mentioned here a bunch of times, have taught my (now grown) kids, and still use to this day, is this, my dear:
The Serenity Prayer:
God, grant me the Serenity
to accept the things I cannot change,
the Courage to change the things I can
and the Wisdom to know the difference.
Take a piece of paper, and draw three columns. Label one "Can't Change", the other, "Can Change" and the last column the "How Change".
The idea is to just let your thoughts and feelings flow and fill up the columns. When you are done, start looking at your Can't Column and you will see that many of those truly can be moved to the Can Column because the only thing often standing in our way, is ourselves! By the time, you've seen your Can't column empty, and your Can Column full, you are in better spirits because you now feel empowered that these things are within your ability to change!
And, here's a favorite quote of mine for recent inspiration:
"Whatever you vividly imagine, ardently desire, sincerely believe and enthusiastically act upon,
must inevitably come to pass."
You can do it!
Feel the love of TER,
Sedona

pardon me for asking (and not knowing), but is the baby here yet?
...like I need to remind you...
Cheers!
"This, too, shall pass."
Everyone gets in a rut or feel depressed at times in their lives. The best medicine is not to sit around your house and wallow in self-pity. That can be very destructive. It's good you're taking a trip to Las Vegas, as long as it's for fun and you're not running away from your problems. Problems exist everywhere if you allow them to control your life.
I agree with Sedona that you should make a list. When I write, it assists me in viewing things more clearly since I'm such a visual person. It also helps me to analyze things more objectively, put things into perspective and then take action.
Think of it as a business plan. Pull your emotional side away from it and use your womanly intuition.
I hope this helps. You can email me at: [email protected] if you would like to further discuss your options or if you just need someone to converse with -- I'd love it.
Hugs,
Ciara
Hang in there. Maybe the road trip will give you the ability to look a little further down the road as far as your goals and aspirations. Your in a tough business and I'm sure a lot of your clients don't understand that you are doing this as a business and doesn't mean they can treat you as there personal slave for an hour. This will make you cynical for sure. Best of luck and feel free to PM if you need someone to talk it throgh with. P.S. I also feel the same as you but but from the opposaite side of the fence. GOOD LUCK
We have never met, so the most I can compliment you on (honestly) is what I see on your website and what people say about you in your reviews.
That said, you are a stunning beauty who clearly knows how to enjoy herself and how to make people feel good. I found myself spending a lot of time on your site.
I am not a client, nor a potential one (as I have decided to cut my hobbying way down), so there is no ulterior motive to this post. take it for what you will, but I hope you enjoy your trip to Vegas, and come back and find nothing but joy in all that you do.

We've never met, but I'm one of your biggest fans. Other providers that I know have told me how nice you are. It is my loss that due too schedules and finances I haven't booked an appointment. I hope to rectify that this year. When I see your bright smile on some of the pictures on your site, it makes me smile too.
New York City can me a much more difficult place to work, no matter what your profession, than almost anywhere else. The traffic, the noise, the grouchy people and all the other things that make it New York. I don't know why you moved or what problems you may be encountering there but just keep smiling and being nice. You'll find it's awfully contagious, even in New York. If you ever feel down again, just let me know and I'll gladly volunteer for cheerup duty!!
Devin,
I can understand how things could get you down but if your being the bright, fun person it looks like you usually are and someone dosn't like you or dosn't treat you well they don't deserve your time. You are beautiful. If you were ever in San Diego and my schedual allowed it I'd love to spend some time with you. Take care and try and squeeze in some time for yourself.
Try this on your trip to LV. Go out into the desert and watch the sun come up. As you watch the colors shift from the night sky to the brilliant dawn realize that you have fulfilled one of the reason's God created you. You just got to watch a master artist at work.
But I do know you have a lot of friends here that will help the best they can. You are a beautiful lady and with that pretty smile you can work out anything in time. That is what it will take is time. You have a lot to offer and just remember that. I would like to ask some personal things if it is ok so email me and we can talk. If you want. I don't know if this will help, when I am down I remember the hard times I have had in life and I think back on them and made it through them. It makes me smile and think I can and will make it through this...Smile at people and they smile back then you find yourself smiling a lot more. Smiling helps you inside and out and helps other people.
[email protected] or PM me..
Devin, you seem to be so nice and friendly. Please don't let a few bad people get you down. You are really beautiful person, no matter what your weight is. In fact, I think your size is just perfect.
Just remember that we all go through are ups and downs in life and it's how we get up from "off the floor" that makes us stronger. One of the best pieces of advice anyone ever gave to me was to never sell yourself short. It's so true, and it really helps me sometimes when I'm down in the dumps. Just keep your head up and show that beautiful smile.

Devin, be yourself, you are a great lady, and you are who you are.
Hi Devin,
You are absolutely gorgeous. Your smile radiates. I have read your site and some of your reviews, and you are doing something right, that much I know.
I will be in Vegas it seems at the same time as you and would be honored to take you to lunch if you like. I would love to meet you, and get to know you. Of course, totally up to you. Call me if you like.
Whatever you think you have lost, I am sure you will find.
Kim
but it's mainly because New York and its inhabitants/visitors are at the center of attention so often!
Yet you'll often hear when travelling, that New Yorkers are the friendliest lot!!! We may be tough, but we're also kind and helpful.
And Devin, we are most happy to have you among us and wish you the very best!![]()

2 You never know who the next guy is..and he might be very
wonderful
3 Enjoy your ATF's.....they love you!

Just me,

Devin awhile back I was having a rough go here, and I recieved a lil card with some flowers from some sweet TER guys....HINT HINT TER GUYS!
But the card had this saying and I keep it on my mirror in my bathroom so I can see it every day.
KEEP YOUR FACE TO THE SUNSHINE, AND YOU CAN NOT SEE THE SHADOWS.
Devin I hope you feel better soon! x0x0x0x0x0x0

Devin,
I consider you a friend and would be more than happy to be there for you to talk to. I know some of what is going on with you and would be happy to be an open ear. You have my #, feel free to use it anytime. You are such a sweet and fun loving gal and all the changes in your life can be tough. Things can always get better. I have some ideas to get you out of that "kindness" back
.
Hugs,
Kelli
I am having trouble sleeping so I got online and read all the wonderful ideas and comments. OK, I cried, because I did not think there would be such a response. I need to mention that for the past year I have had back problems (my L-4 and L-5 need to have some type of "cage" put over them to protect my nerve and spine). Thanks to a ATFclient I have insurance and will be going into sugrey on April 13th. I have been told it is the best hospital here in NYC and I only have to stay for 3 nites than my friend Melanies36D from Reno will be here to take care of me. The problem with NYC is not the money or lack of work,it seems to be the lack of warmth. In Vegas, screening is normal. In NYC it is like pulling teeth and then I stress out and cancel because I get scared. The Drs. out here also don't tell you that Vicatin,OXY,Soma etc can make you depressed. I have never been a drug person and I only have a glass of bubbly with my friends so the drug thing is all new to me.I only have a 8 days until I get home to Vegas and the sunshine and desert. I guess I had always took that for granted. Thank you so much for listening. Sometimes the most comfort comes from strangers. Thank you all,Devin
Good luck to you with your upcoming operation. I hope that it helps to deal with the problem. Enjoy the sun and warmth in Vegas.
This too shall pass!
Today is the first day of the rest of your fantabulous life!
Cheers!
Every person you meet...every session you have is the opportunity to change someone's life, to spread joy, to accept joy, to learn about yourself through others and to help them learn in turn. Seize life! You only have one so live it!
You need to start thinking of this job as the power you have uniquely to bless people with the spirit and beauty you have been given. Think about it. They are paying you because they think you are special. There are a ton of women all over the place advertising their services. If a man selects one, it's because she catches his eye (and his interest) in a unique way. So, the power of your feminity should lift you up so every day...you are unforgettable to someone and you may not even know it.
NY is a place filled with wonderful people. You can't generalize because a few evil souls are trying to ruin your week. F em. You are going to have the best year ever.
Best of luck with school and have a great time in the sun. If you need anything, let me know.

I am a relative newbie to this hobby.
i have been reading these boards for several months now and have responded to several threads with, what I thought, were opinions i felt.
But after having read all the responses to Devin over the last few days, I have come to realize what a wonderful group of people we, and I am now including myself in that group, we have.
To everyone who replied... I am in awe of the "love" and unseffish way in which you all rallied around a "friend" who was in trouble.
We all have seen discussions about trivial things, about silly things, about odd ball things, but when one of us is down or having trouble all the "crap" goes away and you all gather to help.
From someone who wasn't sure what to expect from the hobby and the people in the discussion groups,
THANK YOU so much for being there.
I feel that I have a place to go for the everyday stuff, but also if I ever get down, get troubled, I have a place to get some support and help.
You ladies and guys are the best...
