I have been exchanging emails with a provider, trying to set up a meeting. Her last email to me had one line that is a mystery to me -- TTFN. That was the entire line, so there is no context. Any clues on what it means? The best I could come up with was Tues Thurs Fri Night.
TTFN is indeed a British term.....Ta Ta for now, meaning goodbye for now. Have no idea, though, what Ta Ta is but everyone in England DOES use it.....ah, those Brits!! Love Celeste xx
Slan is not initials for other words. It is the Gaelic word for "good-bye". It is pronounced slawn. I have been trying to brush up on my Gaelic these last few years and have fallen horribly by the waysiude. Now with retirement I guess I should get back at it *smiles*
