Why do some providers insist on using local references ?

Well, think about it lol I would rather get local references from a girl that I know, than someone that I don't know. But, if all he has is a provider from outside of Massachusetts, then I will use her. But, if he is familiar with any of the providers in my state, that is my preference to have their references

It would be really easy for a cop to have another female cop give him a 'reference' if she is supposedly from out of the area...

The lady in question has reviews, a website, in sum, a reputation, in her area, just like I do in mine, I have no issue with using an out of town lady as a reference. I *do* have issue with a reference from someone who has an ad on eros or something, but there's no other info about her.

It's just common sense
